I don't think anyone has mentioned it, but I would suggest curtailing your use of consumables and buying the 33K supply packs until you max them.

Once you max out your consumables at 255, then your pack purchases will be even more gear oriented, and you won't be "wasting" a 99K or 60K pack slot on medi-gel, rockets, ops, or clips.
