It seems that everytime i play this game lately it causes some sort of driver error with the AMD drivers i'm using (14.2 Omega) for my R9 270x. Essentially it minimizes, the drivers report they've successfully recovered from the failure and then the game is unplayable music still exists but the game itself is just gone... Eventually it crashes completely afterwards.
Anyone encounter this problem?

Does it only happen with this game or does the error occur in other games aswell? I had the same problem, after some time it started happening in other games as well and I had to replace my graphics card. If it only happens during DAI try reinstalling Windows and updating the drivers again, if that doesn't help its probably the hardware.
