You do understand what minority means, right? And I'm sure the 4 billion or so people on the other side would be happy with you playing down the advantages we have.

This all started because Marksmad claimed that knowledge of networks and computers is 'necessary', which is demonstrably and very obviously incorrect to anyone who knows the meaning of that word. The fact he did so quite arrogantly and with disdain for those dumb people who know less than him was why I replied. To point out that he might not be as smart as he thinks if he believes people cannot do without knowledge of computer networks because it's essential.

For once I agree with QMR, you pair conflating first-world problems with the necessities of life is downright embarrassing.

 

A minority that will be 50% in two years. But that doesn't matter at all. People who don't use the internet don't need to know how it works. Yet.

 

Ok, fine. The knowledge isn't necessary because it isn't mandatory or required or whatever. It is however very advantageous to have and I see no reason why someone with internet access wouldn't at look up how the very thing they are using actually works. Would you drive a car or fire a gun if you didn't know how it worked? Again, I am not talking about specific details, just the basic principles.

The internet is a tool for information, communication and education, which makes it extremely important to everyone living on this planet. The least anyone should know is the answer to the question "What is the internet?".

Dumbest: IDK honestly. We've had several. Some of the Tactical Cloak nerf threads made some that are generally intelligent act like total asshats. I generally don't like when people criticize noobs for camping. It works and most people don't have BSN level skill nor knowledge at the game so whatever they enjoy as long as they contribute is fine by me.

 

Smartest: A lot of the mechanics threads. I think the best is of course the Library thread by far which compiles a lot of information. Generally though, I like contrarian  views that challenge the traditional views on a kit or playstyle. BSN isn't close to right on everything, afterall it once was common knowledge that the venom was one of the worst weapons in the game.
