I am having a problem with this quest because is telling me i need to burn 2 body pits and i only found 1 and the other one is right where i am and its not showing, some people suggested loading another save but it still doesn't work, is this quest bug or something if so can you fix it, i need help please.

I burned 1 pit of body couldn't find the other one but i ended up talking to the guy that opens that door and seems like i continue to talk to the guard and even talk to the women guard that suppose to complete the mission but it still said on my quest log that its 1/2 burned body pits and the body pit are not on the location where they suppose to be so is this bug or what? Did i actually manage to skip a objective of the quest and ended up finishing but it doesn't show as finish?

You may have to roam around the area to find it. I believe all of the bodies are blocked by magical elemental barriers. Try spotting an Arcane Horror.

Ok, there are several locations here that you might be at - the first is I believe the Eastern Ramparts, they the first one you come to after entering the Exalted Plains and arriving at the initial camp.
As you cross the bridge and talk to the snooty orlesian guard stationed there, if you go pretty much straight into the ramparts the first body pit will be at the bottom of that last set of stairs. One you take care of it, then you turn around and go back up the stairs, to your left you'll see a horn - if you proceed down that passage you'll find the second body pit at the end on the right. Once you get it lit, go back to the horn and blow it, then return to the guard on the bridge.

But the quest shows me the location of where it is and i go there but there is nothing, no demons or magic force preventing me from burning it, not even the body pit

The quest markers in the Exalted Plains show you the location of the general area (Eastern Ramparts, Western Ramparts, Victory Rise) at first and then there will also be a marker showing you the location of the horn you need to blow after you ignite the pits, but as I recall they do not show you the location of the pits themselves.
The pits are guarded by arcane horrors, as I recall there are two in the Eastern Ramparts and Victory Rise and only one in the Western Ramparts which is guarded by a mage and a bunch of Venatori rather than by an Arcane Horror like the others.

I think you got the quests confuse, the east and west pits are from the quest Calming Victory Rise, the one i am having trouble is For the Empire and i am trying to find the demons that protect the pit with he magic force field but nothing cant find it

Is this the quest at the citadel (across the bridge you have to repair)? If so, there is a pit almost immediately after you enter the area there will be steps to your left and a wall to your right, it's up on the wall. Just run past the steps and it will lead you around. The other one is further in, but it will be on the path you will be lead on so you can't miss it. It's once you step off the ramparts and onto ground there's a little bridge and some corpses will spawn, the pit is there. The pit will be on your left and there is a doorway to your right where a Revenant will break through.

Also, there will be a lot of corpses around, once you cross the bridge. Can get a bit annoying if you are underleveled. But the body pits are to the right once you "enter" the ramparts, and the other one is further in, right in front of the gate.

Yes that the one on front of the gate is the pit that is telling me on my map to go there, that is the one that is not showing up

Sounds like a bug to me because the gate to the Citadelle shouldn't even open unless you burned both pits. Try reparing your game and then load an earlier save, preferably from before you crossed the bridge, and see if it fixes your problem.

Also sometimes if you are fighting near the pit or firing from a distance at the arcane horror near the pit, you can destroy the barrier during the fight so you won't actually see it when looking for the pit. The pit itself won't be missing even with a bug, so look for a depression with a load of skeletons in it; if there is no burn icon then it is a bug.

The best way to find the other pit is to search for the Arcane Horror guarding it.. Those ramparts are a mess. Just look for the Horror.

I looked around the place but cannot find any horror and no demons around either

One of the body pits should right next to the gates to Citadelle de Chorbeau. The other pit can be found by going right at the first junction when you enter the island, where those two bridges intersect. There should be corpses coming from that direction.

The one that i burned was the pit thatw as right when you enter the island the pit that is close to the gates is the one that is not showing up, is there a link to picture or video that way i could see because im searching all around this place and there is not another pit

Alright now i remember i burned one of the pits and as you see the wooden gate around 2:00 i destroyed it when i had 1/2 pits because i ran out of potions and was about to die so when i destroyed the wood i went running to turn in the quest bt now it is stuck like 1/2 and there are no demons or magi barrier or even the horrors to kill
