You don't turn in the quest anywhere. Once you burn the pits, a revenant smashes the front gate and you advance into the fort to rescue the soldiers stranded inside.
If the gate is smashed, then you can just go inside.

There's apparently a bug where you can break the quest if you prematurely break down the door (the revenant doesn't spawn, and the quest doesn't progress).
It's a known issue; I'm not sure if any fix would be retroactive.

That must be it. Either load an earlier save or just leave the quest, OP. It's not essential.

Alright thanks guys and i dont think we can leave the quests, it would be nice if we could, would be nice of ea to fix it too.

There should be a fix for it in the patch coming out next week, but I don't know if it will help you since the quest is already broken.

Is the patch confirm or do they always patch it every week if so what day for next week?
