Titanfall copied HALO and Unreal Tourney. 

 

Advanced Warfighter copied titanfall

 

BLOPS3 is copying all of the above. They're doing nothing unique at all. Booster packs..... Gee, um yeah. Don't try and be HALO too much. cause HALO had booster and thruster packs since Reach. My God. Just goes to show you how innovative HALO is for console FPS and how lame and un-imaginative CoD is. 

 

 

But hey, many mouth breathers and mountain dew drinkers will buy the fvck outta this game. So, it's all good.

I don't know where CoD can go after the future, sure stories can be told in wars but the stories that have enough content (WW1, 2 etc) have been done already, our total history does not have (thankfully) enough wars to be told in games.

 

Modern day: Typical Middle eastern, Russian/China, terrorist etc.

WW1: Germany

WW2: Germany/Japanese

 

For CoD to continue story wise, they need to look into more alternate scenarios. Maybe a what if scenario, any one would do. Random or what. If the EU split later or earlier, North Korea actually launches nukes, UK tries to create an empire again, Russia does attack, America attacks, Malaysia attacks, Zimbabwe attacks China attacks etc. Maybe stay modern but with aliens, go into the past with aliens (Resistance), future with aliens, monsters underground (Gears of War). I don't know, I'm just bored of the typical go to settings for war, re-hashing the same stories.

 

A nice change from the CoD seriousness would be to go down the Red Alert type scenario. Over the top stupid bombastic and hammy. Attack dog? Why not attack bear or do a Destroy All Humans! CoD game.

Hmm. I might rent this one instead of completely ignoring it. Treyarch might not have the mechanics down as well as Infinity Ward does, but they are better at coming up with ways to make each game they make feel unique.

Not interested, because its CoD and I couldn't play another one after BLOPS1, though I know the story of BLOPS2 was praised.

 

I miss the MW2-quality of CoD. That game was fantastic. Went downhill after that.

Meh, CoD fell from grace after the first Modern Warfare (CoD Big Red One was my favorite though). I would say I prefer Battlefield but EA ruined that. I use to enjoy a lot more FPSs, now I only like a few. Most of them are all the same.
