Where were you when COD became the best rpg of this generation?

Call of Duty has been the best RPG series on the planet for a number of years now.

Blah blah CoD is the modern version of a Michael Bay 90s action movie.

 

10000 bucks says if there was a person (female or otherwise) that wanted to make the final boss cute, or wear pink, or have a soft side, or the main character have a soft side or something like that the person would be immediately kicked out the door.

 

Anyway, I agree with what most people on the first page said, it's not really going to change the experience substantially.

I only cared about the first minute or so. I hope Naomi didn't change up her stance of "Why are we sensationalizing this?" by the end.

Halo has been doing it a tad bit longer, and Fallout, and UT, and several other games have had women die horrifying deaths.

Where were you when COD became the best rpg of this generation?

I recall it being a FPS Twitch shooter. 

 

The only thing that CoD can do that will get my interest is a World War 1 campaign and multiplayer with Civil War Confederate Zombies so that the undead south will rise again. Also CoD WW1 would be good if done as a alternate history.

I prefer the future but hey, interesting concept.

I think the hardcore RPG elements and complexity makes up for "muh textures".

It's about as detailed as Inquisition, though obviously CoD is a better RPG series than Dragon Age.

Textures are not that bad. However it's been more about framerate and performance over graphics. CoD fans should know this already.

Well, that actually sounds pretty good. That's a pleasant surprise to hear about what they're doing about the campaign.

 

I'll have to keep an eye on this.

Honestly it doesn't sound all that bad i may actually pick this one up. i mean Rainbow 6 Vegas had the option if playing as a female lead. years ago and guess what the world didn't end.

Who cares really is there a Stat difference with the gender or is it just aesthetics? i assume its just aesthetics with no gameplay difference save a few pronouns being used. honestly its no big deal.

now is the Tumbleretts make it a big deal however remains to be seen.

Problem with this series is that I like to wait a few months to see if the game is good and have a stable player base but by then they announce the next game so it doesn't feel like there is much point to buy the current one so I end up never buying any of them.
