It would be really helpful if you allowed the game to detect a controller after it starts. Having to shut down the game and restart it because I forgot to activate my wireless 360 controller is really annoying considering this games load times are quite a bit longer than most other games out there.
Even those idiots over at Ubisoft have got this down.
It's not reliable on the PC either bud the com system is garbage code

Or allow me to use keyboard/mouse (on PC of course) even though I happen to have a controller plugged in.
