I'll stop posting about how terrible it is, when I either quit the game, or they decide to fix it.

 

BW has already announced they're working on improving the loot system. So yes, they have 'decided' to fix it.

 

Feel free to complain, but you'll get no empathy from players who get consideribly worse drops than you do. I can spend a hundred chests (and have) and get nothing that upgrades me, and not feel bad. I can actually spend 10x that amount right now, but I'll wait for a better salvage system implemented.

 

Considering how it seems everyone progresses from completely bad to improved loot over time with more chests opened seems true-- but yes you are spoiled. Just because something is no longer an upgrade, does not mean it is not inherently valuable.

I play mostly pugs, I talk to people, I ask how much gold they've spent, what kind of gear they have etc. When I see low level players using Sul Blade, I especially ask.

 

Second, I never said ANY of my loot, or any loot from chest I opened had no value. It just has no value to me as a duplicate level 20-22 blue item.

 

Sorry, Slayer has no value to me personally from a loot gained perspective, but it's still a nice axe.

 

I have many second , third, and fourth best weapons. Same goes for accessories. Does this mean the second rate gear is bad? No, getting the same second rate gear over and over again, does me no good though, so my characters are not progressing.

Save up your gold for this update mate, I really wouldn't waste your time. I've spent around 1.3m now and I'm still missing quite a few top tier weapons.

It is definitely just luck. Today I spent about 50k and got nothing but a few runes, which I mostly salvaged anyway. I have earned at least 2.2 million gold in total and there are several items I am yet to unlock, including the Pyre of the Forgotten.

 

I'll let you have one of the three I have lying around. I'm keeping 70 damage ones though, you can have the 69 damage one.

Pal, let me give you a little nugget of advice that I discovered quite early on in the game: duplicate loot, isn't always the same. Allow me to explain more, I opened 2 large chests 1 after another and out of both I was really lucky & got Mindchill Staff & it wasn't until I went into my inventory screen that I noticed the DPS scores were different, one was higher by 3, not much I know, but it got me looking at any other weapons I get duplicate of, I always go over to the crafting screen & see how much DPS I have should I decide to slot a rune of the same value in there. You may be getting lucky in more ways that one, especially if those Griffon Longbows have a higher DPS.

Allow me to explain more, I opened 2 large chests 1 after another and out of both I was really lucky & got Mindchill Staff & it wasn't until I went into my inventory screen that I noticed the DPS scores were different, one was higher by 3, not much I know, but it got me looking at any other weapons I get duplicate of, I always go over to the crafting screen & see how much DPS I have should I decide to slot a rune of the same value in there. You may be getting lucky in more ways that one, especially if those Griffon Longbows have a higher DPS.

I would hope that it would be pretty common knowledge, to people like me, who have opened over 650,000 gold worth of chest.

 

Also, when addressing someone, especially someone you don't know, starting out with, "pal", "bud", "sport", or "junior", can often be taken as a derogatory addressment.

 

I don't know if you meant it to come off sounding that way or not, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

 

My little nugget of advice for you is, perhaps you shouldn't address people that way in the future.

Looting has become increasingly difficult since I can't sacrifice PuGs to the Demon Commander as easily as before. The RNG god got angry I couldn't keep up my unholy tribute
