I keep reading things like
"are you on PC? then why don't you get yourself a bunch of free credits?? "
as if this was the obvious thing to do.

to be honest, this kinda ruins things for me.
I have played (dunno) 800 - 1000 hours and just jumped for joy when I got my BW on VII.


I was tempted but definitely won't cheat because I'd be shooting myself in the foot.

but knowing alone that obviously many people do it,
has changed the immersion for me a little.

the 66666 glitch happened to me many times and I'll admit that I took advantage of it.
But this actually made things worse !! cheating sucks.
the only good thing about that is that I got to try characters and powers I'd never would have touched.
and another good thing is that it only can happen with few characters.

In fairness, most of the players here tend to do this after maxing 1 account the legit way, whether they max on PC or max on console and make the switch to PC later. Can't speak for everyone obviously, but that's how I see it based on the people I know here. 

 

I've never done the 6/6/6/6/6 glitch and have no interest in it.

Didn't even know an abuse existed for this. Personally i sunk 900 hours into the console version and nearly had a maxed manifest. I switched to PC and in 125 hours I have almost all the weapons unlocked (just missing 6 URs). At first I was annoyed that I had to rebuild my manifest, but I have had a lot of fun having to unlock everything again. However, I certainly wouldn't look down on someone looking to get easy credits because the RNG can be ridiculous in this game.

Cheating is cheating whether it is 6/6/6/6/6 or credits.

 

Credit hacking is tolerated here only if the person already has a maxed manifest  the legit  way.  There is no sensible reason to grind out a maxed manifest a second time unless the person wants to do so.

6/6/6/6/6 glitch isnt really cheating. its like using sentence enhancers from sponge bob.

the difference is just that this happens sooner or later unwillingly. and then it is not so easy to deny this present. but like I said, I should have.

At this point I don't really care if people max their first manifest via credit haxing.

I admit to credit hacking. But I play solo with my hax manifest on PC unless others wish to invite me. I came to PC to enjoy doing some solos that I've been wanting to do, because I didn't want to be tied down to RNG for another year or months. If I play public, I dumb down to common weapons with no gear equipped. My only legit manifest is on PS3 which I've sunk about 600 hours in. Plus, my challenges are bugged on PC and there's nothing that can be done about that.

I didn't claim that the RNG isn't bullshit, but I have enjoyed playing the game again even without all my gear. Now that I am not swimming in lvl 4 consumables the game is actually challenging again.

5 edit mods and enable all in all weapons 

 

6 enable search for private lobbys 

 

7 play unfinished maps

 

8 switch teams  (only with troll people or others who switch team im a gray wizard after all)

 

9 edit banner IDs 

 

10 edit stats in all kits 

 

11 use console commands

 

12 use text chat

 

13 and made crazy game mods for other people

I played a lot and there are people who tell you "DUDE YOU ARE AWESOME" or "YOU DAMN HACKER PEOPLE LIKE YOU RUIN THE GAME" i only try to make the most entertaining game after having achieved everything that could reach.

Play some more on the Dark Side (PC) and your moral depravity may soon kick in, this is just a video game, and you are not taking a test to see how high your conscience can score on that regard that only you will know

Of course if the first thing you do after installing your new game is to try to hack it, then why bother to play, which is the achievement or challenge? nothing.

 

But thats my opinion, and many people like hack and get all in 1 day, and thats is their business not mine, and if  they want help I share knowledge free (other people want money in exchange).

 

In life there will always be temptations, It is your personal desicion if you fall in them or not.
