having never heard of mass effect till last year except a friend talking about the perfect krogan, i have happily played me3 special edition on wiiu , and am now no20 on the global multiplayer list. 

 

some of the elements of the story are themselves from outer space but generally it works well, the characters are friendly and social and helps make the game enjoyable.

 

multiplayer on the wiiu is my favourite part, a 4 player team versus an army of freaks, robots or corrupt organisations or on platinum level all of them in one match. when you get the right team playing you get a good sense of acheivement having battled through wave after wave , completing the missions and ensuring the full team is alive for extraction. i have many friends  (74) for me3 mp who are all good people to talk to and battle with on the game. 

 

i can say this game is a success on the wiiu and wished there were more games as good as this

Wii U ME3 isn't the best version, but it is my preferred version.  What we're missing are the story content DLCs and the additional MP DLC packs.  I don't miss the MP packs.  The story DLC packs are ones that I do want though.

There's an extra multiplayer DLC pack that the WiiU didn't get, and I don't think you can play the previous two games on the same system (although they didn't have multiplayer, I highly suggest doing so if you have access to a PC)

We rarely get platinum lobbies.  I usually seize the moment when someone wants to go platinum.  Usually fun with a cool group.  We also did gold with M.K418 who is another Japanese, the one where we really made it seem like bronze. LOL.

Well, at least you get unnerf'd Piranha and Typhoon(if I'm correct, that is). Not sure if Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii U servers are busy like PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. How long do you have to wait?

ive never been a pc gamer, my mate was a bad company legend  on 360 but i used to go working in holland too often to play

 

ive noticed about 4000 players on the uk list on wiiu , it could be more but the wiiu a secret gem, more fluid than the 360 was and until the games getter for the nugen consoles its still the best console on market

I've looked at the leaderboards and there seems to be like about 25k players or more.  

 

Engniows, sooner or later, you'll bump into Marksmad who is a Wii U ME3 owner and keeps on cursing his ME3 MP luck.  He will definitely be looking for more guys like you.

all i can say is me mate werent so bothered for it on 360 but spent all day every day playing it ( occasionly he worked) i played bad company , 1942 and left for dead 2 on that, but me3 wiiu is better than both them.

 

we get some good games on it and there are some very good players , of our lot that own ps4 as well they are talking destiny at the moment but none them are that amazed by it

As long as you're not hurting over the missing content, the Wii U version is good.  If it weren't for the Wii U version, I would not have finished ME3 8 times.  I've only finished ME3 on PC twice.

 

Wait times vary on MP, but more folks should be hosting and people should have their friend list.

for server times it dosent seem too bad , the main problem is not connecting every so often , about every 3 months or so

theres enough playing to always get gold games except the rare time ( late sunday night ) platinum games are the problem, another few platinum players and we'd all be happy

kapukonn is a bit crazy.  She's good, but she goes down a lot when things get really rough.  I've tried some games with her when she and I both being the players carrying the weight of the team and we have yet to really get through a gold without serious trouble going down.

i cant say about missing content but if there was any more it wouldnt suit , as it is its a well rounded good balanced game, the multiplayer is sound, the problem with wiiu is there isnt enough 3rd party games but if me3 can be done the way it has been there shouldnt be any problem. 

 

its a games machine for playing games on , personally i prefer it to an all-in-one media station, and i think exclusivity goes against what gaming is about, get rid of the business fraggles and get the developers running the show

she might have a risky style but she can be pure genius as well , one of the most entertaing players on wiiu , shes improved a lot recently and i try to look after her cos shes sound. when i met her she just went battling the atleses and brutes but know shes developed into a quality player, give her a bit more time and she'll be real quality in a unique way. her krogans are the best ive seen and shes as mad as fersial with the shadow

LOL.  Nintendo is probably the primary offender when it comes to exclusivity and dividing the business.  As far as an all-in-one station, the Wii U, I think is probably not the best platform.  All the third party titles are missing there where as all the other machines do have that.  I've solved my problem by having my PC to fill up the third party gaps of the Wii U.

 

As far as ME3 missing content, on Wii U, we're missing a few new enemy units, Dragoon (e.g. ex-Cerberus Adept-ish enemy unit), Geth bomber (#$%#&#%$#%!!!) as well as a new faction, Collectors (from ME2).  The story DLCs we're missing are Omega, Leviathan and Citadel DLCs.  I find myself wishing for the story DLCs because I really do enjoy the singleplayer campaign.

 

Off the disc, we get From Ashes (Javik), Genesis 2 (The sole reason for me finishing the game 6 times on Wii U), and several weapon packs (some of them unadvertised!).  These are nice additions and no DLC authentication stuff to worry about.  I love my Wii U version and of the personal opinion that the Wii U version is the most complete ME3 package on disc.

It's been a while since I've gamed with her and I've never seen her use the shadow.  If she's as good as fersial, then I'll probably send her a friend request.  She used to send me some, but I turned them down because I didn't want to use up all my gels. LOL!

They kinda have to be nice to be fair. You'd be playing solos all day otherwise.

Longer than on other platforms but normally it's possible to get a full lobby in a few minutes most times of day.

 

In my experience, the waiting times are least on PC, longest on WiiU, Xbox in between. Can't speak to PS3.

Actually we have played a few games together. I have another handle on Miiverse that has been more used than the Marksmad one, but I tend not to publicize it here. I'll PM you.

Something about Miiverse encourages people to share constructively. It seems to work for Nintendo.
