- Less huge areas with almost nothing in them, design 4-5 and make them interesting.

- No characters we already know, I want to meet some new people.

- More cutscenes

- More Story

- Less flower-picking

- Either don't let enemies respawn or let them respawn after I left the area, killing the same three hyenas every ten minutes is just not entertaining.

I'm going to get in so much flack for this, but I'm going to say it.

For EA to sell the franchise to a developer like Obisidan who might want to make an actual RPG rather than an action oriented title aimed at casual gamers.

Obsidian couldn't afford it. Besides they've got their own new IP which I think they've made a solid start with. I look forward to seeing how it develops.
Obsidian doing a spin off game in the DA universe could be good though. Something like what they FO:NV.

in DA4 I'd like to see playable raced returned. But designed with multiple races from the start so they fit the story better.

Inon Zur working on the soundtrack. Not generic Morris...

FIND ONE art style/theme and stick with it!

And everything else that needs to be stated has already been stated.

I would like playable races to continue.  My Qunari mage has always been amusing to me.  Though that would kind of impede on my want for the main character to be a king unless the second main character is the playable race one.  Or a new kingdom grown out of the old for all I know.  I wonder if it makes sense to include humans and elves from a different dimension or something, like the Wild Hunt from the Witcher series.

I would like more story, and integrated companions in the main story.

DAI did not feel like a party-oriented game to me. There were no real tactics, the companions were not really mixed with the main story,... It felt like an action single player RPG.

1. More female companions, at least 5.

2. More body options on the female version on the main protagonist, like muscle.

3. Mae as a companion.

No more neutrality complex.

If they are going to use four VA again, at least give us two that aren't confined too: 'we can't show too much emotion because it ruins their immersion.'

Kill off the Inquisitor.

-Playable races. Seriously I love my non humans. I don't want to be forced to play ugly, boring human.

-Long main quest. It was way too short in DAI.

-More story.

-DA2 looking Qunari. There they actually looked like another race.

-If we are going to a ball, I would like to see my female character dressed in something feminine, that was designed for her, not copied from a male protag. If dress poses too many problems, I would be happy with something like what Tallis wore in Mark of the assassin. The same applies to casual outfit, like the one in Skyhold.

-Neutral animations for PC. I didn't like that my female Inquisitor moved like a man in cutsenes, was quite painful to watch. And in gameplay, she moves horrible as well. Women don't run shaking their asses like she does. Sorry.

The neutral animation would change this unfortunate situation. I think that Mass Effect (I) had that. :)

I think that's all for now.

1.More emphasis on attrition based combat.Keep enhancing the the current combat system.

2.More personal storyline.

3.Very minor thing & won't bother me if not implemented. 10 skill slots to use in combat.Might calm some of PC guys down.

4.If possible Blood Mage or Healer spec.Only if you manage to balance them & be lore consistent with.Healing is hard to do & exausting.

5.More character creation options.

6.Keep working on DA Multiplayer.

7.For MP & SP,increase difficulty of Boss fights. For a little inspiration or ideas that could fit into DA....FFXIV A Realm Reborn Primal fights.Have numerous strategies & tactics to defeat them.Dragons were a good start.

8.Bring back individual if-then scripts or enhance the companion AI.Whichever is fine.

9.Keep up the good work & keep writing fantastic stories/companions.

1) the return of zoom in/cinematic style dialogues like DAO. Expecially for side quests. Even potentially touching/interesting parts of the game felt quite flat (like the entire quest of Firebanks, Ishmael and Michel.). Expecially for side quests and areas without main questes inside, the area felt just a big place where fetch stuff and even the stories that are there felt meaningless, if people really understand are there. Big areas are good and all, but without the feeling of doing something/being there for a motivation, felt quite unused and unuseful.

2) decent hairstyles. I can't understand BioWare taste in those. Why would they think male balding hairstyles would be good for female characters? and why so many shaved styles? is a fantasy game with medievalish/renaissance feeling, not Mass Effect. (and let's not talk about the Qunari...)

3) choose what to wear outside battle. The PJs are terrible. Nothing else need to be said. Or our armour everywhere, or choices. At leat race-specific ones.

4) better hair colors. The ideal would be a wheel like for the eyes and cosmetics (at least with only the more natural colors; from black to white, passing from the various blonde, red, brown tonalityes) I can't find a light cestnut I like for the hair of my characters, or a less cartoonish dark blonde.

5) no green light in CC or crafting!!! really, I can't sometimes really see what kind of colour I'm giving to the armour, because the light is dark and misleading! (and I'd really love black leather)

6) longer tasks and missions for the main quest. In DAO you had to make many "lesser" missions to complete the main ones (Orzamarr for example. Having to do some tasks for Harrowmont or Behelen to gain their trust, or finding a way to enter in the fog to enter the elven ruins where the werewolf are, etc.), and that made the game longer, and feeling like the protagonist really had to work hard to succeed in her travel.

Many of the secondary quests in DAI could have been made better and integrated to the main quest, so the main quest would not have felt so short compared to the sea of unrelated and pratically unuseful side missions.

7) Finding a balance between almost anorexic and slim atletic figure. The Elves (expecially male Elves, who are incredibly bugged, with convess arms) have an almost skeletric body, and almost no body mass. Sera and Solas have just the right body type. But the Inquisitor is stuk with noodle arms (almost as terrible as the FemSheps ones) without any trace of muscles.

Slim body doesn't mean starved body.

A good example would be a gymnast body. Slim body, but with muscle definition. (expecially legs and arms)

Hey, is my preferred race, I want to continue play it, but I'd like the body model to feel more sane and less starved!

I really liked DAI. the characters, the story, the playable races, the exploration, the lore, even the gameplay. I had fun with the game, and I think is the most important thing. But. But. There is room for improvemant. Lot of it. The road is the right one, and If DAI can resolve/give more attention to some elements, the next DA can really be a gem.

I do agree with your points about length and the races, as well as the goofy animations. My favorite Qunari so far just looked like a super tall human, Sten didn't need horns, pale skin or those funky eyes  the Arishok had to really unnerve you. They just need to get a voice actor specifically for the Qunari instead of this only two voice actor creepiness. Our only contact with Qunari in DA:I have been Iron Bull who is a few octaves from Mr. Prinze's Vega and the Katari that just sounds like a boastful human. The voices in DA 2 were far better when it came to the different races, you could probably sit down and listen without watching the game and know what race the person was. Everyone sounds too 'human' in DA:I, there's no real regional variation in the voices at all. Even the Antivans don't sound Antivan if that makes sense.

Some points I'd really like to see in DA4:

- more complex side quests (more quality/less quantity)

- good and evil choices with real consequences

- less collective quests

- day/night rhythm und different weather

- cinematic view in each conversation

- a PC with more personality (I miss sarcastic hawk)

- some really nice background story für the PC (I want to feel as special as I felt when playing as Revan in Star Wars Kotor) or give us the origins stories back

- the same quality of companion quests as in DA2

- a longer main story

- a good plot twist

- a story that takes place in Tevinter

- a less static world (In DAI, you get to know most things about Thedas through codex entries. I'd like to see more NPC's in the world who actually talk to you.)

- Please don't let the game look like a construction kit. In DAI, each area was created in a similar manner. (astrariums, shard hunting, mosaic pieces, collecting plants and herbs, collecting materials for requisitions, giving object x to person y, etc.)

- give the same amount of romance option for straight male/female, gay und lesbian people (or at least not always more romance options for the same group)

- please make the story relevant romances bisexual, so that everyone can experience them

- give lesbian and gay people an ice king/ice queen or a knight in shiny amour

- give straight males a romance option that's NOT human again

- make Harding a bisexual romance option

- give at least one romance option to straight male/female, gay and lesbian people that looks beautiful ( I know it's a matter of taste, but just compare Cullen and Iron Bull. I like both of them, but I think it's good if everyone has at least one traditional beauty to choose from.)

- please make the first meeting scene with the companions more special (no simple "Hey, I want to be in your team, okay?" anymore.)

- give us better hairtslyes and beards

- I'd like to see longer hair for females AND males, too

- More casual outfits would be nice (or at least better looking ones)

- More puzzles and riddles

- bring the brothel back

- give us caves back

- give us attribution points back

- give us more specialisations

- create the world a bit darker, more scandalous, less Disney like

- don't orientate too much on Skyrim. Dragon Age should keep its own charme

- it would be nice to have a place as in the ME Citadel DLC, where you can do private things apart from the actual adventure (maybe some mini games)

- please concentrate on single player mode

<snip>

This bit can get a little tricky. While I enjoy playing through different romances, I understand and accept that sometimes as a female character there will be men and women I can not, and should not, be able to romance. While I personally don't dislike the idea from a fantasy-game-therefore-its-okay aspect, I can understand  and agree with the idea that its not realistic. I'm okay with this being a thing as long as its handled well, but there are some characters that just don't fit different sexualities. Like Cassandra? I don't see Cassandra liking women, especially with her softer romantic side. She secretly wants to be swept off her feet by some knight in shining armor, and I like that. I do enjoy the option to flirt with her as a female, just as I enjoy flirting with Dorian, but I'm perfectly okay with their characters not being sexually attracted to my character. You cant have everybody in real life and some characters don't fit a bisexual sexuality. Each character would have to be crafted in a way that makes them being bisexual understandable/acceptable so it does not feel forced, which also takes away from Bioware's creativity options. Im sick of these checklists for everything. Yes, everyone should get a romance option or two, but No. They shouldn't always be fair. life isn't fair, sexuality isn't fair. I can pine after Cassandra all I want, but unless I resort to modding the game she will never return those feelings, and that's okay. If anything it creates more intricate headcanon options. I would take the story and characters feeling more realistic over having a repeat of DA2's sexualities.

Take Anders as another example. To male characters he mentions that Karl (the guy who was turned tranquil) was his lover. To female characters he does not mention this. Finding out that was there and that he didn't bring it up to my female character made the bisexual romance feel forced, it was like he was suppose to be homosexual, but to prevent Fenris being the only option for straight females he was made to be bisexual. Or perhaps saying it felt like he was forced to be player-character-sexual is more accurate. Its like he was straight or homosexual depending on the sex of the lead character, If you were a male he would only be interested in males (hence the Karl comment), if you were female he was only interested in females (hence no Karl comment). In either case it just didn't quite feel right.

I don't know, I'm tired and probably making a mess of what I'm trying to say. Essentially I don't hate the idea, but I'd prefer if the characters felt more realistic, even if it means when I play a character a certain way that character may get rejected by my first pick romance option. If it hurts the character (Anders) I'd rather it not be forced in to fit a checklist. Ideally they should aim for the same number of romances for each group when crafting/drafting out characters and Love Interests but sometimes a character gets a mind of their own. You're creating a bisexual romance option and storyline when suddenly you realize your own character isn't actually bisexual. Maybe your character is straight, maybe your character is homosexual, maybe you're forcing them to fit into a group they don't belong in. Like when I try and fit in with straight women but there's this girl I totally adore at the table and I want to just adore her but that wouldn't fit in and maybe someone at the table will make a huge deal out of it.

Sandal.  Wade. etc.  Final Fantasy has Cid, we get Sandal.

Bug testing before it goes out. Like really, no one took the game home to play into the ground and figure out party banter wasn't working, load times were horrible?

DA had an art style following DAII, where did it go?

*snip*

well, I never said they all have to be bisexual. I just say "give all of us the same number of LI's OR give at least not the same group more romance options again". In DA:O, both straight males and females had one LI more to choose from than homosexuals, straight females had Sebastian as an additional romance option in DA2, straight females also had Solas and Cullen as two additional options in DAI. Now, I think another group should finally get more romance options (if they don't give all groups an equal number; let's say 2/2/2). And since it had never been a homosexual group who got more LI's they should be the one who get more romance options next time. Sounds fair and realizable to me, In DA5, they could give straight males more LI's. And In DA6 they could change again. Or they could give two groups more romance options. Let's say: one additional option for lesbians and straight males in DA4, and one additional option for gays and straight females in DA5. I just don't want the same group to get more LI's in all games, you know?

But what's even more important to me than the quantity of romance options is to make the story relevant romances bisexual. I like playing gay characters and I couldn't enjoy the game because I wasn't able to romance Solas. I was so desperate that I would have even accepted to have him as my only LI. So, that's my greatest request. I even accept to get less romance options than another group, but please Bioware, make at least the story relevant romance options bisexual. :-/

I'd like to add short cutscenes while exploring new areas. Like in DAO when you encouter the Archdemon or stumble upon the Broodmother (both of those encounters in the Deep Roads) , it was unexpected and added some tension.

Its just one minute and really made the entire questline so much more memorable, adding something like that for dragons or boss-type enemies you encouter in the wilds surely can't be that much work.

1. I would not mind a reconsideration of the Weapon styles and such(think maybe Kingdoms of Amalur?), so as to give for instance warriors the ability to switch weapons as needed. secondly two weapon slots, something that could easily be implemented into the tactics wheel on Consoles.

2. Dual wielding for warriors, back, please. Make it completely aggressive the total opposite of Sword'n'shield.

3. appliable attributes.

4. I think the Crafting system is fun, BUT instead of having schematics dependant on tiers, have it dependant on Materials only. Secondly, perhaps bring back the attribute requirements of DA:O into the mix of crafting and loot. that might mean loot and unique weapons we might find in the world could still be viable.
