If you must know, I read Jack's posts in Grunt's voice and your posts in the TF2 Sniper's voice. It makes them infinitely more entertaining to read.
Well, that makes my avatar a very interesting choice then. ![]()

Would you go so far as to rate it above the semi-infinite LOOOOOOOOL ?
Don't be silly.
... as sexy as I sound in real life.
Does anyone ever take instant cool down on throw for any of these shotgun fury setups, or is that a bad choice? Just curious, I don't have much experience with this kind of play style with the fury.
Throw's CD is pretty quick anyways, so unless you're really heavy you're wasting a lot of BE damage. Consider the time moving to enemies and moving them in and out of the field and it's not that significant an issue with your CD, if you're on CD you can always shoot them in the face with the Raider. ![]()

I'd rather have the detonate evo, and use the recharge speed evo on rank 6 just like Nuke did.

Feneckus used to take that evolution when he ran with the Claymore. With a raider or similar weight guns it makes more sense to go the way Nuke does, but a claymore begins to be heavy enough that even with evo 6 recharge speed, you still suffer from a long-ish CD on throw, hence why he used evo 5. It definitely worked, hehe.
If there was the N7 Storm vanguard, which had Biotic Charge, Annihilation Field and Throw, I'd consider using a class like that.
As it stands, however, I cannot use the Fury. ![]()

Adrenaline Module III plus the Fury's +speed boosters makes you... well not as fast as Biotic Charge, but pretty damn fast.
That doesn't change the fact that by the time I'm within range for Annihilation field, I'm already dead.
I can't even play the class on BRONZE let alone anything else. ![]()

How about Biotic Charge, Nova, and Annihilation Field?

You just need to learn ![]()
How about Biotic Charge, Nova, and Annihilation Field?
I raise you a Drell with charge, AF and clusters.
... And I'm all in.
I don't like Nova.
I can use it, I just don't LIKE using it. And Annihilation Field is hardly my favourite.
How about just increasing the radius of Annihilation Field to 100 meters while we're at it? ![]()

There's no kill like overkill, eh? I approve.
I just don't feel the love with the Raider on the Fury. Heresy perhaps. I do, however, find the Graal with some incendiary ammo to be a murderous combination. Has one more shot, can hit from a distance, and primes the living crap out of anything it grazes for glorious fire explosions everywhere. Cooldown is the same so that's a wash. I think reload is slightly faster or maybe it's just easier to hide in some other animation.
I don't even own the Graal.

It works really well when it works like it's supposed to work. The problem is that it's hard to rely on though, especially if you're off-host and have a lot of "dud" explosions, or if you have teammates using Disruptor ammo that may just happen to override your biotic prime right before you want to detonate it. I think it's a better strategy to just minimize CD.

The BSN tears would feed me for the rest of my life, so I'm in favor ![]()
Someone using Disruptor Ammo? First Throw Tech Burst, second Throw BE. What's the problem?
It's that any BSNer worth their salt would wait for the first Throw and then shoot some more Disruptor - not that I could possibly condone, or be understood as encouraging, such trollish behavior ![]()

Yes, then make throw hitscan and give it the ability to target and pass through walls as well. I shouldn't have to press a button AND move a stick about to play the Furry, I should just be able to spawn in then press a button a few times for instant Edong and teammate eardrum destruction.
So in all seriousness, why it is OK for a class like the Fury to use Incendiary Ammo to set up its own FEs (which block the BEs), but it's not OK for someone else to use Disruptor Ammo which... sets up TBs.
It is because TBs are less cool than FEs?
