Guess my biggest gripes with the Raider are its spread (even choked) but more importantly - its rhythm. This is all down to user preference of course, but I find the Graal on the Fury to be more sympathetic to how I play her. Still, not going to give up on the Raider altogether and will continue to try and work out a plan for that cannon that makes sense for how I use her.

You could go 5a, I doubt it would matter much in the grand scheme. I don't get that many headshots though with the setup. 4b is mainly for weight reduction. Dark Channel does get a bit of benefit though as does AF. Over the course of the game I think this probably gives the power damage more killing power than the weapon damage which generally is plenty already with the Raider.
in fact u need one of the two weight reductions with the raider, but not both. so the first one is better.
U went 5a, i suc at HS, but i wld still go 5b

re: Graal vs. Atlas, the problem is actually the shields, not the Graal.
Atlas (and Prime) have such ridiculous shields that (without Disruptor/Phasic) for a long time you feel like you're barely doing any damage while you gradually wear down its shield. Then all of a sudden the shields are gone and you tear it apart with the Graal, or whatever gun.
For the Fury, at least she can repeatedly BE the Atlas -- it will try to melee you while you dodge in and out -- and the BEs will eventually strip its shields.
But this is one case where that ally with Disruptor ammo is actually helpful. ![]()

I realize we're talking about managing cooldowns here, but a Locust/Tempest X with ULM adds like 2% or 3% to cooldown weight, and will get those shields down a lot faster than the Graal will. And a Shuriken would add about 1% ![]()

Problem with that is I think equipping ULM on anything breaks the weight glitch for when you put the omni blade on your Graal, which you should do unless you're a babby pyjak.
Also, I'm pretty sure the locust and shuriken both have lower DPS than Graal even against shields
Edit: Yeah, Graal has about twice the multiclip DPS as either of those with the same shield damage multiplier. Tempest is closer but Graal still outdamages it.

It also suffers from lack of a double hit like most of the pellet shotguns. But yes, once the shields are down it tends to fall fast. Oddly Primes aren't as much of a problem. I haven't tried carrying one of the tiny plinkers yet but that may be an option worth looking into. I still prefer the Graal, too.
I think there's some long forgotten Krogan DNA mixed into my Fury.

You don't have time to use an Acolyte, when you are hiding reloads in biotic explosions. x)You forgot the Acolyte. Every biotic has to have an Acolyte sidearm.

I don't like to use Raider or Claymore or any of those single or double shot weapons on the Fury. Too much reloading. Even with reload canceling it interrupts my sprinting and flow.

Still too much interferance and sometimes there's nothing to throw. Also the character tends to stop sprinting to reload in the worst possible situations.
So I pack the Eagle. I don't have to RC it, it has range and Raider doesn't, it has tons of ammo, it's light and I can use it to force Phantoms to flip a lot to then throw them. Plus it's N7 and people say the Eagle sounds cool from their perspective. ![]()

Eh. I never understood why you liked using that gun on her, but if you like it that way, good. Using the fury with a claymore or a raider does change her flow quite a bit, so you'd have to adapt, and I can understand it feeling weird at first. That is, in the best possible conditions, where you can consistently hide your reloads. If you can't cause you're lagging... Amonkira help you

Feel the same way. As much as I like using the Wraith on some of the other casters it's never felt right on her. There are a couple of heavier weapons that don't screw with her timing so much. Like the Graal
. Three available shots puts it in a sweet spot that the others lack.

Put on PMS gear and she'll higher cooldowns while having a 100% increase in all biotic attacks.
