So I installed everything and all that. I press play and it says something about hardware but lets me continue. Then it goes black as it begins to start up and finally windows says the program has stopped working. I am using a laptop and i heard something about Mass Effect 2 not supporting mobile graphics card. What I'm wondering is if there is an way around it? I tried to turn the sound off, the video all the way down...I just really hope I didn't waste my money on a game I can't play...

Thank you.

My computer meets all the system requirements as well and everything but the graphics card is at or above the recommended requirements.

Out of curiosity, you aren't running Windows 7 by chance are you. Dragon Age Origins had this trouble and still does with Windows 7.

I'm having the same problem... which pisses me off because it runs dragon age and Modern Warfare 2 just fine.

Yea, I've a similar problem. When I start up via steam it locks up my computer. Can't ctrl-alt-del or anything. I have to restart my computer by holding the power button.
