Why can't we just directly upload our inquisitors?

I'm glad they updated the keep so we can delete and edit heroes over all three games but really, a lot of the headaches seem to stem from players not having the ability to simple pick and choose what is uploaded to the site and what isn't. I still can't upload the heroes that i want to be in the keep to the keep, and while i could understand the previous games being to old for that, I'm talking about my inquisitors. Out of 5 playthroughs i currently have only 3 of them on the keep, and of the two missing my primary one is one of them.

Why can't we just log into the keep, click on heroes and push a button that says upload hero, pick the game to which we are uploading from and i assume through our saves pick the inquisitor we want to upload and from whatever is the last save point upload the story for that inquisitor as has been decided through our playthrough till that point, then have those choices that are relevant be reflected in the tapestry?

Because it's easier for your decisions to be uploaded while you play than it is for your save file to be uploaded manually.

There are too many inconsistencies between the game structures is the fundamental issue. Keep errors cause problems right from the get go so verify them manually.
