Since English is not my native language, I would like to know the exact meaning of the word "Blight".
Ik looked it up  on a simple dictionary but trere was no mention of it.
Can somebody explain it to me please so I get a better ondertstanding.
I know what this blights accomplish in the game bud not for what exactly it's stands.
I hope you know wath I wont to explain.

1. Plant Pathology.
a. the rapid and extensive discoloration, wilting, and death of plant tissues.
b. a disease so characterized.
2. any cause of impairment, destruction, ruin, or frustration
3. the state or result of being blighted or deteriorated; dilapidation; decay

In this case, #3 would be the closer definition. Think of it as a disease that slowly saps the life out of you. That's what a Blight is for the sake of DAO

I allways kept wondering what it might mean.

I thought it was a special kind of warfare.
