So earlier this weak I was promotioning and after a few characters I made a game and noticed that some of the classes that I promoted were "rolled back" so to speak. They were back at lvl 20 and both my n7 rating and the little swirly sign showed the old number of promotions.
Is there any way to fix this? Now my N7 score (red number) and my N7 mastery (challenge number) are out of sync and this is really bothering me.
A couple of pictures to illustrate this:
As you can see from this image, the N7 Mastery Challenge would seem to suggest that I have 6+3*60=186 promotions.
The character loadout indicates that I have 6*29=174 promotions.
This is non an issue. Many of us started playing the game and were promoting the classes well before the challenges were introduced, it took BioWare 6-7 months to implement the challenges into the game. So that means we wasted 6-7 months worth of challenge points from N7 Mastery.
For me:
total no. of promotions = 333*4 + 332*2 = 1996
no. of promotions after CP = (60*28) + 52 = 1732
difference = 1996 - 1732 = 264 promotions before the challenge points systems implementation.
My heart bleeds for you.
N7 points are still worthless, who cares about them as long as you got the minimum of 120?

I got this sometimes too, very annoying. A possible fix: after each promotion, return to MP main menu and wait for galactic readiness show up (meaning EA server sync'd your profile), rinse and repeat until all classes are promoted, done.

It's like the battle of who has the bluest balls.
Promoting is so boring. I only do it now when I need to respec too many kits or re-spec the glitch-able kits, of course.
EDIT - also, I never judge other players skill by the N7 number, which is the most useless stat for judging other players skill anyway. First I go by the weapon & gear slot level, then challenge points. Then finally I look at the N7 score to see how bad pugs epeen have been hurting.

It is the unreleased Battlefield 3 Infiltrator rumored to have Incinerate, Tactical Cloak and the 3rd power I don't remember. It is the character card only (hidden in the store) but the kit is still unplayable.
