I'm going to quote my 11 year old brother about this game.

An eleven year old doesn't find this game scary, and considers it a puzzle game.

I think that's all I need to say.

To be fair, fear is subjective. A 5 year old could crush a huge spider in their hand and look at you freaking out like your some kind of weirdo. Same kid could run screaming from clowns to get you looking at them like a weirdo as well. Saying "someone didn't find this scary" doesn't really seem like that valid a complaint.

I don't really find the games too scary as well. Startling when you get killed yes, but not terrifying in the least. That say, I can appreciate that the games mechanics are challenging. Having to worry about different factors and managing various inhibitors to your progress throughout the various games provides a solid game experience. It's a hell of a lot better then some of the more recent horror games like Evil Within, where the horror is in bad controls and quick time events with visuals like the gore and such. Someone getting flayed and disemboweled then shambling after someone does little to scare me, but then again creepy staring eyeballs scare me a lot, so go figure.

I say it's not about the fear, but whether the game provides a way of interesting a person. Be it the puzzle aspect, the mystery, the jumpscares, or just watching others play it. That's just my personal opinion imo.

It makes good game theory. That's about all the damn's I give.

There's no such thing as "good game theory". The asshat who runs that show is a Pewdiepie-loving tool.

Well, time to get blasted by the internet.

What's with the interent's hatedick over pewdiepie. I've watched his videos, and while he can be annoying at times, I don't see what makes him this vile thing the internet seems to hate more then Justin Beiber or the Ebola Virus.
