Seriously think the model hate comes from some deep seeded roots after getting picked on by the "plastics" in high school or something... Models are "selected" based off of how beautiful they are (sometimes it can be who they know, like Jagger's daughter... 
). What did I say on the other page about unrealistically high expectations? Moles (also known as beauty spots btw because they don't look half bad in the right places)? Birth marks? Name me one person who is perfect from head to toe? We all have random imperfections and I really don't think that makes a person any less beautiful, unless they are excessive...
Zoey Deschanel is an actress and while it helps to be good looking, it's not necessarily a necessity, especially when her main selling point is her quirkiness. I'll add that I agree that she looks just like a lot of women that walk down the street and that she's in fact pretty lucky to be where she is today, probably due to having a more talented sister... Whereas Kate Upton is paid just to be good looking and judging by the amount she gets paid, that means that a lot of people agree. That says nothing about her character, but this is not what the discussion is about...

In my youth I had a HUGE crush on Helena Bonham Carter. (See: Room With a View. OMG she's soooooooooo gorgeous in that movie, both looks and character-wise.)
When the movie Howard's End was coming out, she was on a press junket to the local 'artsy' theatre and I got to meet her in person. And we talked about baseball! Someone had given her a (local baseball team) hat so that was my 'in' to start the conversation.
And I can say that in person Helena Bonham Carter was every bit as attractive IN ALL WAYS as I thought she would be.
So for every story about actresses who turn out to be b*tches in real life, I always trot this one out as a counterexample.
