If you could make the DA Team work on a favorite Fantasy Setting, which would it be?

I don't think Bioware can go dark enough to really put the grit in Shadowrun, Dark Sun or World of Darkness.

Dragon Age.
Because I am sick of the same crap being done over and over.
hehe - i second that. but..... erm ... i would REALLY have DRAGON LANCE anyway. just because it hasn't been done in a long time and i think it's interesting enough to make a good story from it.

What else? Hmmmm... a Shadow World campaign based on a computerized Version of RoleMaster? Ok, I better dream on, since RM might cause the game-box with printed manual to weigh more than 2kg.
Talion:Revenant RPG
A BattleTech RPG similar to DA in terms of character interaction, but added Mech combat.
"Battlestar Galactica:Origins" based on the new TV-Series, but with space-combat.
An RPG based on Bullfrog's "Syndicate".

Rifts. Because it needs to happen.
The KOTOR team would be better for Rifts, and I agree that it needs to be done badly.
I'd like to see the DA team take on Palladium Fantasy. Just as rich and wide of a world setting with it's own set of sleeping "old gods" to cause all sorts of problems.

already been done by TRS and SSI in the 80’s and start 90’s. Another and maybe
more original setting could be the world of the Death Gate Cycle. This world
setting is by the same authors as Dragonlance (Wise & Hickman) but hasn’t
yet (to the best of my knowledge) been made into a game.

However it was in an adventure game which loosely follows the strory of the books but a RPG in the world of the Death Gate Cycle could be much better.

Think about it - Elric, Erekose, Corum, Jerry Cornelius, Doriam Hawkmoon, and so forth are all manifestations of the Eternal Champion on various planes of the Multiverse, of which there is a nearly infinite number. So, on any one of the other (infinity - 10) planes, you would be the Champion. the cool part is that at different times, the Champions come together and you meet and quest with them briefly. Also, certain of the companions are multi-planer, or have manifestations similar to others, so that Jerry Cornelius (the champion) is also Jhaery a Conel (the companion) on the plane of Corum, allowing for a multitude of diversity, while some beings, primarily the Chaos Lords, are constant (although they may look radically different) because they may freely travel between the planes.
Failing that, Planescape.

I imagine DA:O is just about as dark as an Earthdawn RPG would be but I wonder how they would handle the Horrors that take months/years manipulating characters, spell casting and spending exp improving and upgrading artifacts.
