Best:
Reworking Firebase White.
Worst:
Release DLC with Piranha shotgun, instantly buff Piranha shotgun, then nerf it so it's performing less good than the DLC release version.
Showed how hilariously little the MP team knew about balance.

I totally forgot the White redesign. It's the one reason Jos Hendriks is allowed to exist by BSN after Condor.
Krysae nerf was fine. Any weapon that can stagger shouldn't be capable of much dps anyway. As being able to stagger is such a huge advantage as is.
Hurricane buff is pretty crazy, though. I think I also wish light weapons like it weren't capable for so much dps. These weapons should be mostly for power focus kits for their light weight and the powers themselves with fast cooldown making up for lack of weapon dps. And if you still wanted more weapons dps, it would cost you in the power cooldown department. The way it is now, any power focus kit can bring crazy weapon dps and still have max cooldown. Kinda makes the whole cooldown addition kind of pointless to an extent.
Greatest changes - reworked Singularity, 50% chance on no CD on Biotic Charge.
Worst - probably Krysae, but I don't care, since I never used that gun in the first place. Arc Pistol and Talon buffs were over the top.
Change that should've happened but didn't - Reegar damage nerf
Worst: Vindicator- that weapon got rode harder than Lindsey Lohan.
That one always confused me. It was an outstanding caster class AR at the time.
Vindicater is still very light as is. It's just as light as the Carnifex. But the Carnifex is capable of more dps via heavy barrel and glitching it's weight and better amour dps due to way higher per bullet dmg, thus Vindicator is obsolete next to Carnifex. Which in turn is obsolete next to Paladin because BioWare made the Carnifex just as heavy as the Paladin taking away the only unique advantage it had over it. Yep, some really strange balacing acts by BioWare. But I know why the Carnifex was nerfed like that. Too many folks were using it so BioWare stepped in with their wonderful player statistics by the numbers balancing act.

IDK that the Carnifax was nerfed so much as the enemies were buffed and it got surpassed by the creep of enemy health pools going up and other weapons being more effective. Sure the weight was increased because it was a damn great weapon at one time but eventually it got surpassed and forgotten by the balance change team. It's very, very rarely used in pugs anymore.
I can't believe nobody has mentioned the Repair Matrix nerf. That was way OP.
probably because it's still hilariously broken.
If anything other than the Krysae deserved to be Krysae'd, that was it. Wasted oppourtunity
I understand the complaints over the Krysae nerf. It was changed from an I-win button to an underwhelming gun that's really just an anti-mook crowd weapon.
I still laugh at people who complained over the Tactical Cloak or Piranha nerfs. Tactical Cloak was changed from the best power in the game to .... still the best power in the game, but with slightly less distance between it and #2. The Piranha was changed from a really, really ridiculously good weapon to just a really, really good weapon.
That one time they very slightly buffed the Incisor was amazing, IMO.

The Krysae didn't really deserve the treatment it got. It should have been nerfed........HARD but they completely broke the weapon. Sure it's still usable on some hipster builds but just barely.
Almost forgot. I really like the balance change that added 3x headshot multipliers to GPR, Locust, and Valkyrie. Has to be one of my fave balance changes.

Yes, still very broken, but it was way more broken during that first week before that last and final balance change.
best: inferno grenades buff
worst: falcon nerf.
The other best: Extra credits for extraction. I remember the time, when PUGz just bled out on purpose on W10 after the objective, because 'there was no point' to extract.
Kicking people that do nothing in game was a great addition too. I hated that crap when a guy would just stand there for an entire mission. Sometimes you'd even hear snoring over a mic.
Both changes kinda ruined my old pug play though. I used to finish wave 10 objective, then go ******, smoke, or get something to drink. Let the pugs waste all their efforts and consumables. Besides solos, I don't think I extracted for almost a year! Lol! Now I actually gotta play to get a little extra jingle. Still not really worth the effort, but whatever...
The Krysae Nerf was the best thing to happen to multiplayer
The Krysae Nerf was the worst thing to happen to bad players
The Acolyte change was made in a balance change right? Too lazy to search the thread.

If I remember it right, the Acolyte was changed from a charge-up weapon to instant shot, but the change was reverted later in an attempt to fix the missile glitch. Which failed, of course.

The changes to Firebase White and Glacier were actually in a patch
I loved the non-charge Acolyte. I know people love those charge-up weapons but charging and firing for a few games always hurts my fingers.

The charge was actually removed to stop missile glitching.
Yeah I think so. Did you like it better as a charge up or not?
I preferred it without the charge since it meant I could actually use it. I've got bad hands, and charged weapons are a no-no. I fully understood and agreed with them reversing the change though. Without the learning curve for the charge, it was ubiquitous. Everyone and their mother used it as a main weapon (me included) on nearly everything, with no drawbacks.
The charge being reinstated is what forced me to actually L2P.

I can last maybe two waves at most.
