Oh, The Oddessy?
The Homer epic that's a sorta sequel to The Illiad, where Oddessus, the Scylla, and a few other Greek myths come from.

My dream game would be something Rock Band-ish that revolutionized the way they handle Career Mode and other bits under the hood. In terms of hardware, I'd love to hook up an EDK instead of the cheaper drum controllers Rock Band provides. If they can do the same with Guitars on Rocksmith, don't see why not with drums. Guitar Hero Live looks pretty damned good so far.

Oh see I thought maybe you were talking about the Odyssey, but to be honest I thought maybe it was a game also. There is definitely a game called Arcus Odyssey somewhere..
Anyway there are lot of myths and legends that have the kind of tenor I'm imagining so it's not really that far off overall.

A 2D platforming castlevania. Order of Ecclesia nailed it down pretty well with it containing both classic and metroid elements (customization plus difficulty) and I'd like to see it expanded on.

How fun is that 3DS Castlevania that came out around the time of Lords of Shadow 2? I had aspirations of playing that before it came out but I never gathered up enough money for it in time for release. When I did I was already saving money for Persona Q by then.
