I seen one in the forums for ME/Shepard, DA:O/The Warden, and DA:I/The Inquisitor. We are due for one of these here.

Here is one for mine, from the new (post-Layne Staley) Alice in Chains.

Love the tone/rhythm here, especially with how the bass opens the track -- really exudes this feeling of toil and burden which any given Hawke could feel saddled with. And the lyrics, message, and hell, even the video all work wonderfully as well -- someone with very anti-hero qualities, often finding others seeking to use her to their own ends, and generally having an exterior shell that is tough and hard to get under and get a sense of what makes her tick...

I don't connect with my Hawkes on the same level as I do my Wardens, so I have a hard time coming up with theme songs, but this one totally fits Colin Hawke, my redheaded rogue...

I'm not sure if using another theme song (without lyrics even) counts, but I do like the melancholic tone - and it connects nicely with the rest of the DAII soundtrack, I think.

I've paid my dues, time after time.
I've done my sentence, but committed no crime.
And bad mistakes, I've made a few.
I've had my share of sand kicked in my face
But I've come through.

I thought this would fit my FemShep but it sound more like my super-angst FemHawke.

How could you tell me that I'm great
When they chew me up, spit me out, pissed on me?
Why would you tell me that it's fate
When they laughed at me, every day, in my face?

"There must be some kind of way out of here", said the hawk to the dwarf. "There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief."

"No reason to get excited", the dwarf, he kindly spoke, "There are many here among us who feel life is but a joke, but you and I, we've been through that and this is not our fate. So let us not talk falsely now, the hour's getting late!"

Used to be my favorite track out of a mix I played when playing DA2 (couldn't stand the game's music), and stuck with me since every time Hawke is mentioned:

For Hawke's enemies:

For everytime someone does something that essentially causes a huge cluster f*** (which is pretty often):

Oooh. I've only just started playing DA2, but the inspiration is hitting me already. I'll probably get back to this later. 8)

edit

Something to inspire my aggressive/direct Force Mage FemHawke.

Can you honestly expect me to take you seriously
When you've put nothing on the line at all?
When you say you can't believe in believing
Are you setting yourself up to fall?

And I will not wait for someone to save me
Watching it come, then pass you by
Something inside is keeping the fear alive

I will not come to you, I will not come to you
I will not come to you, I
I won't give nothing for such an empty reflection
Such high expectation will burn in your hands

Do you recognize when people break you down
And there is no time to build another wall?
Well, you walk fast and you talk fast
But you don't move at all

I will not come to you, I will not come to you
I will not come to you, I
I won't give nothing for such an empty reflection
Such high expectation will burn in your hands

Mourning Ritual's cover of Bad Moon Rising always makes me think of DA2.

And Sympathy, for Hawke and Fenris.

Male Reaver Hawke:

I don't have any specific reasons for this song, I just think it fits Hawke quite well. Plus, it lists people that support the person with the name to be remembered, which is a bit like the people associated with Hawke.

Female Blood Mage Hawke:

I think this works for both a Blood Mage Hawke, and for Fenris' romance. I feel Hawke's rivalmance with Fenris fits an evil/bad Hawke who, despite being a bad person, does have a heart deep down.

Male Shadow Hawke:

When one thinks "male who hides in the shadows, uses daggers, and isn't such a bad guy," one might think of Ezio Auditore from Assassin's Creed. I think the title fits a rogue Hawke (especially an Assassin Hawke, obviously) very well.

Female Shadow-Assassin Hawke:

This one is a bit ironic, because both Hawke and Anders were unfaithful. Anders is unfaithful in that he betrays Hawke's trust in Act 3, and Hawke is unfaithful in that she kissed and romanced Tallis (which requires Hawke's LI not to be present in MotA). Also, I sided with the Templars, so I had to kill Anders on the way to Orsino.

In regards of the many stupid people, Hawke has to deal with, either of those two songs would fit:

New Model Army - Stupid Questions

Gun Club - Idiot Waltz (this is especially in my Hawkes head, when dealing with Meredith)
