The blackstar doesn't fire in an arc, does it?

Hmm .. I rarely use the Heavy weapons, but both have good points.
In ME2 I loved when you swapped to the Cain you get those little 'wing' things on the muzzle that spin for a sec or two. Very cool. Plus the big BOOM! Always a crowd pleaser.
The Black Star when it detonates sounds like a Possessed Abomination going off. I mean who doesn't like detonating A-bombs. So there's that.
