On PS4 I've come across a few glitches where I had to restart the game to "fix" it.

One was when I was on the Storm Coast. Verric started talking about Cassandra and then suddenly the game sound (all of it) disappeared. I tried loading the game, fast traveling, the sound was gone. was back when restarting the game.

Another one, also on the Storm Coast was when I had chatted with the girl at a camp, the one that gives you those quests to make something.

I listened to her and then I couldn't move anywhere anymore. My character stood there completely still. Could move the camera, use the menu.

Reloaded the game and it was fixed.

Now here's the worst glitch I've come across.

At the Empress mission.

The door that leads to the ballroom and the vestibule. I of course wanted to go to the ballroom where the mission continues. But apparently there's 2 options on the door, and you have to make sure it says Vestibule to get into the ballroom :P

It would've of course been logic that it should say ballroom when you click to get into the ballroom from the vestibule.

When you've done it wrong, you'll get a looooong black loading screen, and just get sent back into the vestibule.

There should only be one option on each side of the door of course. Vestibule when you're in the ballroom, and Ballroom when you're in the vestibule.

Oh and there has been som weird face spassing in some cutscenes. Looked like my character had a stroke.

I've had those two glitches happen on PC. Oddly the sound cut off in the Storm coast for me as well, maybe it's connected?

For the one where your character is stuck, try switching to another companion and attacking. That forces your stuck character to unsheathe their weapons and get unstuck. Had that happen a few times.

That door one is on all platforms, they clearly didn't test the game before releasing it.

I think the worst one I've had was when on ps4 the entire team AI just stopped working X times on random encounters. Instead of using abilities, they preferred to just spam auto attack. Very annoying and the only solution is restarting the whole game. This is really unacceptable... especially when I'm in the middle of a fight with the dragon on nightmare.
From what I've seen this bug hasn't been fixed since THE PREMIERE. My friend on pc also got this problem and some people on Xone.

PC here, been playing since about a week after the game came out.  I've ran into this problem as well.  Sometimes the problem fixes itself, but I usually have to exit to the main menu and reload my game in order for that issue to go away.  I never ran into the door problem though, thankfully.

I ran into the door problem, sadly. At first I had no idea what was going on. I tried to google it, but there was no solution, but thankfully after long 5 minutes of loading screen, game just threw me to the ball room.

I had a glitch in my playthrough when I was doing pranks with Sera. We  went to Cullens office. It started out just normally but suddenly Cullen just appeared at his desk in and it started a new cutscene that took me out of the room. When the cutscene ended I tried to go back to Cullens office to see if Sera was still there. Happens that after it I couldn't get into Cullens office anymore (Didn't think it was permanent so carried on with the game and overwrote my saves). No more talking with him during the rest of the game :D  Last I checked the doors are still bugged.

Ha, I remember reading about the door bug, and I was like, "That sounds awful. I'm gonna be careful and I'm not gonna let it happen to me!" Shortly afterward, when I tried to get to the ballroom from the vestibule, I wasn't careful enough, and right when I activated the door, I realized it said "vestibule" on it, and I was like, "Sh!t..."

The wait was absolutely agonizing, lol.

I've heard of that one.  That one has also been around since release.  :(

Sigh  <_<   It was like month ago when I played the game through. I understand that some bugs are hard to fix but not being able to interract with one of the lead characters in the game... Just unacceptable.

I encountered one today that I haven't had before. It was a war table mission. It was about four hours long and I assigned it to Cullen, left to do a quick side mission and when I got back, his card and the mission were missing from the War Table.

I looked for solutions online and I read that you should change the time for your system and I did, but with no luck. I don't want to reload because I found a decent schematic on my side mission and god only knows if I will pick it up again. Anyway, it kind of makes me a little pissed that there has been seven patches, harmless exploit fixes and I am still running into bugs like this.

Remember that comprehensive character controller the "real game changer" for DAI and the future of game play?  Your seeing what happens when a key component is incomplete and inadequately tested.

Good Idea, Game changer, Yes when it is completed.  Get on it Bioware!

I can tell you that this particular bug was reported over and over again, but still Bioware failed to fix it.

There really is no hope left for this game...

You're jilted and Bioware isn't getting anymore of your money, we get it. Some of us still have a semblance of hope for fixes.

I remember to this day when some executive at EA gave a entresvista about how they should rethink the form of making and games and test before releasing due to big wave of complaints about bugs in launching BF4.

After playing DAI I see that he was just talking the talk.

After the recent patch, there's another thing that annoys me now. It wasn't there before the patch.

Sometimes when I move around the game freezes for a tiny second. Like it's loading, but I doubt it's actually loading, since it can happen twice in a row or even 3 times in less than a second, but still annoying.

Oh and I've noticed that my companions sometimes don't do anything after this patch. They just stand there looking at the air hehe.

Same goes for enemies, they stop doing stuff, just looking at us killing them. Especially the big guys. Sometimes they even get stuck on stuff. The giant enemies shouldn't get stuck on small rocks :P

Now a casual player probably doesn't mind that enemies stand still and do nothing, but we who play the game on Hard or Nightmare don't want enemies to get stuck :P

I have a rather funny/annoying patch that I found last night. We'll just be walking along and suddenly an animal (not a violent one, but a fox or nug) will turn red on the "radar" like an enemy and everyone will pull weapons and start chasing it. I thought it was cute and funny at first, but it happened during a fight with several bears and while they basically shredded my character-- Solas, Cassandra and Varric chased a ram.

Sometimes they take fall damage when spawning in. (This is also why the party sometimes grunts and groans and takes damage when you can't see them.)

Physics damage is treated as player damage (for whatever reason), so the critters turn hostile.

You mean when the animals spawn in? it certainly wasn't any of us that spawned in. We were just strolling along. It happened in the Hinterlands and on the Storm Coast. I haven't been anywhere else yet. I just found it odd. It's never happened in any other playthrough.

Yes. Random creatures are spawned and de-spawned fairly aggressively.

When the critter spawned in, it took damage and turned hostile. It seems to happen most frequently at certain spawn points, but it's a relatively common occurrence (depending how much time you spend running around the wilderness).

How very strange it's never happened before now. I hope it doesn't keep happening. It isn't a big deal until you're trying to manipulate something or fighting.

In addition to the Vestibule/Grand Ballroom door glitch, this also occurs in Champions of the Just. The Great Hall doors that lead to the Upper Barracks and Officers' Quarters are also bugged. Picking the wrong one will result in a 3-5 minute load screen, on rare occasions causing a crash.

I've encountered this on the Xbox One, but I've heard it's a universal issue.

Yay, new patch, new bug in my game! (ps4) Now after I chose my Inky's specialization ( Artificer ), Varric keeps saying the same damn thing over and over again when I'm talking to him, which is: " So, you've been hanging out with Three-Eyes... " Pretty annoying.
