It's kind of silly that we have the weapon and armour crafting abilities at the keeps, as well as a merchant, but if we want to use our upgrades that are in storage we have to travel all the way back to Skyhold - at which point you might as well just use the Undercroft crafting tables anyway. :/

 

Having the Storage Chest only accessible in Skyhold alone kind of defeats the point of having Keeps to begin with. As it is, we have access to all of our Undercroft abilities in the Keeps except the one that matters. :/

Or maybe have seperate crates if it can't link to the Skyhold chest...

I'd have to agree, it may not fit with immersion, but having access to the bank when crafting in ESO was a tremendous aid vice carrying everything around.  There was also a mod in skyrim when building homes - you could share the resources and not have to actively move them.

I wouldnt mind having separate storage chests, though if you dump your stuff in the Undercroft and start a new zone on empty, most of the stuff you'll be looting are either crafting material and a lot of crap that you'll likely end up selling at the Keep's merchant. I've never gotten enough stuff on any map that filled up a nearly empty inventory that was worth keeping.
