I've been trying to hoard but I ended up after a match with 101200. It seemed like a sign to buy a large chest, nothing I needed but it was still decent stuff..... so I bought another.... then another..... then another until I got one with 5 whites and was able to make myself stop.
soooo excited for this stream! hopefully whats coming lives up to everything we want and more.
Dragons do nuts? Good for them (provided the nuts are low calorie and low cholesterole)

Banked 120,000g so I can buy 100 chests if/when the patch introduces new items, maybe have some info on drop rates for y'all. Still buying chests every now and then on top of my 120k, still need the 200 hp belt, and some ability rings.
..so..you hoard all this gold, spend it all to get all the new goodies (if any will come at all..) and then probably complain again because you have everything and want more..? I don't save up any gold, makes no sense to me at all..

The logic is certainly variable, but for me the priority is cloth.
If there are new classes I'd like to have sufficient cloth (there are plenty of other materials as cloth is the bottleneck) to craft those classes straight away.
If there are new items in the store, having around 50,000 gold gives me a chance of picking up something new at launch, though I agree it wouldn't take that much normal play for such items to start dropping anyway.

Considering there's a bunch of uniques I still don't have anyway, I think I'll be spending gold for a long time even after the "surprise" in order to get everything.

RNG may suck but I don't ever see a scenario where 100 chests wouldn't net at least a few good items. We will get more out of it than if we spent it all now.

Did they get anything decent? Nevermind I watched a few minutes, I saw 2 good items in the first 8 minutes. See, I will get some good stuff.
They got Deathward, Agony, Dragon hunter axe and 15% CDR amulet. and a load of junk.
