Wait, why Briala? She is fighting for the elves.
I stopped paying attention to the fellow but that is a odd inconsistency.

No, it's terrorism if you use violence to create fear in order to achieve a political result.
A purge, by itself, is not terrorism. Celene was trying to apease the nobility, not create fear.
Words have meaning. You can't just throw them around and hope they stick.
Right here JB. You just condone what she did.

No, he says it wasn't terrorism, which it isn't. That's not condoning the purge.

Remember the elf we save in Florianna's bedroom. Briala set her up to be killed because she knew to much. And she likely had her other people killed as well just to gain points with the Inquisitor. So she is no better than Celene or Gaspar.
No, I did not. I simply pointed your misuse of a word and explained her intentions.Right here JB. You just condone what she did.

Or Anders, since he was willing to let an entire Circle die just to send a message. ![]()

All he said was that she did it to appease the nobility, which isn't surprising since without the support of the nobility, her hold on the throne would've been that much shakier. It was a political move on her part.

He called her actions legally right. Which is condoning it. He doesn't say it is wrong he doesn't say that she shouldn't have done it.

How did that translate into condoning her actions?
You didn't condemn her actions. Which means you condone them.

He never says she was legally right in that post you quoted.

tbh, I'm not entirely sure that was the case there since she wasn't entirely sure that it was Briala who ordered her to go there. And even if she did, I'm not sure she knew that an assassin would be in there.
But then, I tend to give people the benefit of doubt. * shrugs *

Yep your right. Must have mixed up two different posts. I will admit I messed that one up. But he still doesn't condemn her actions.
I can't describe what this thread turned into but its incredibly entertaining.

Legally right =/= morally right
You didn't condemn her actions. Which means you condone them.
Not condemning someone's actions =/= condoning them
