Isn't it enough that there are so many Anders impersonators in the Hinterlands?
Anders cut from the game forever

When the source is "some guy on Facebook", whatever they're saying is probably not worth worrying about.

As believable as "a source working at X confirmed this and that".

How cool would it be to find Anders in inquisition and judge him at Skyhold (if he lived) lol
My only problem is that it requires Hawke to totally spare him, which I just can't. Inky'd have to lop his head off though.

I loved the Original Anders I wish he would come back that thing in DA2 was not Anders

Anders form Awakening was better. Justice should have picked a different person to team up with. He was just asking to get killed. People grew to hate him. If you played Awaking you knew the old him. Even if you had him live in your keep. He is gone I can accept that. But I would like to have the old Anders back.

I'm kinda hoping they're done with the cameos. Don't get me wrong. There are characters I loved and will always love (and Anders was one of them). But I'm thinking that everybody's story is pretty much wrapped up, and there's no need to bring anybody back for the sake of fan service. Actually, that's a really good reason not to bring anybody back.
That said, there are a few characters who might have a solid reason to return, if we go to the part of the world where they're going to be. Dorian planned to return to Tevinter to try to reform his homeland, so if we go to Tevinter and if we encounter any of the political factions, I'd expect to meet both him and Maevaris, which would be really cool. But if we aren't going to Tevinter or if we aren't getting involved in Tevinter politics, I wouldn't expect to see either of them.

When you take into account that Anders constantly meets the murder knife in my DA world, he would have to return as a ghost or a clone or a demon infested corpse. Not someone I care to meet again.

IDK why people always complain about Liara when Garrus & Tali were far worse with the "popping up in future games" thing
As for Anders, i usually always kill him so i hope he doesn't appear again
Liara got her own DLC and her position in the galaxy changed dramatically (Prothean researcher -> well-known info broker on Illium -> the Shadow Broker) while Garrus and Tali's positions didn't change much (Tali can become an admiral on the Admiralty Board, but only if she was found innocent in her ME2 mission and survived the SM). The main thing (at least for me) is that Liara simply can't die. Both Garrus and Tali can die in ME2 and both are replaced by other characters in ME3 in the case they are dead (Tali is replaced by Admiral Xen for the Rannoch missions and Garrus is replaced by some turian soldier on Menae, iirc).
Same for Leliana. She has a similar rise to power from DA:O to DA:I and can't die in any of the games (at least, not permanently). Hence why I really don't want either of them returning again in future games.

Oh, how sad, that mass murdering abominable, fear-mongering, moronic, self-destructive, lying bi-polar maniac is never gonna show up again.
That's so tragic. Oh wait. I got that wrong. The deaths of the hundreds of people he killed was the real tragedy.

Agreed. Dragon Age 2 managed to ruin two decent characters from Awakening.

The main thing that pissed me off is how badly he treats Merrill. He's literally the only companion I want to punch in the face........ repeatedly.......... until I see blood

I love Anders and I'd rather he not come back. I'm pretty positive I'm more happy with my headcanon for him and Hawke than I would be with any future content that would be written for him. Just the one sentence they had Hawke say about it already messed with it more than enough for my taste.

I know right!
The freaking abomination is giving Merrill a hard time about dangerous magic. Seriously!
This gif perfectly represents my feeling towards Anders whenever he tells Merrill off.

It was supposed to be. iirc, the original concept was that the Inquisitor would find him living as a hermit somewhere. Afterwards, they'd take him back to Skyhold and decide what to do with him. He lost his right arm after being attacked by Templars or someone else after Kirkwall, I think.
There was also a concept where a m!Adaar Inquisitor could potentially usurp the Sunburst Throne and basically tear the Chantry apart. It would've been incredibly difficult, though. It would've been easier as a f!Adaar, but not by much.

It's by Matt Rhodes here, but it, like many drawings, did not make it into the game. See the tags, #anders is among them.

Same for me. My Hawke and Anders are spending their time and being at peace at Weisshaupt right now.

Ew, I wouldn't have liked that. I would have at least liked him to go out in a blaze of glory fighting in the Hinterlands than become a washed up shadow of his former self. I was hoping he'd be leading the rebel mages and we'd be able to either side with him in Inquisition or fight him on the field.
