Does it matter which you do first? I have many playthroughs but have always done the abyss first. I am romancing blackwall this time around if that makes a difference. For once I have enough power to do wicked hearts first (though I REALLY hate that one but it would be good to get it over with first) Anyway does it matter?

If you do Wicked Eyes first, you get Morrigan earlier, and having her in Skyhold during the beginning of Here lies the abyss may get your some extra dialogue for her or the Warden.

Not really.  Just a matter of preference, tbh.

 

I prefer doing Here Lies the Abyss first since it removes a huge chunk of Cory's forces, then I do Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts.  Sure, there's an assassin planning to kill Celene in an attempt to cause Orlais to fall to chaos, but considering how Cory plans on moving his demon army in afterwards to take over, I'd rather take out his forces before stopping the assassin to make sure that if Orlais does fall to chaos, Cory won't be able to step in with his forces (at least, not nearly as quickly or as easily as he would if he still had said forces).

 

But then, like I said, it's a matter of preference.  Either way, you roflpwn Cory's agents without many issues.

Given the size of the area we are active in, I'm a bit disappointed that there's no time management component to the game. Halamshiral is closer to Skyhold, so it makes sense to stop there before you go to the Western Approach.

I just imagine going the Crestwood to meet Hawke's contact, but the day of the peace talks in Halamshiral comes up so the Inquisition has to stop the assassination first before going to the Western Approach, then Adamant Fortress.
