Had to post my reply in two parts as apparently I'd included too many quotes in my post:
How come the guy gets to keep his trousers on?
It's one of the immutable laws of fantasy RPGs. The women are compelled to scamper about in tinfoil lingerie, while the men dress in a rather more pedestrian fashion. Why is this the case? Who knows. It's one of those unanswerable questions -- like why do women in bikinis stand around wearing fixed grins during the F1 Grand Prix or a heavy-weight title fight? And how much cash are you prepared to sell your self-respect for? As someone who was once an adolescent boy, I blame adolescent boys. We're hopeless pervs. We're also a target demographic, and advertisers have no moral compass.
Actually it's a lot more simple than all that. He has his trousers on since I've not finished his pelvis and legs yet (which is also why he only gets one screenshot), and didn't want to give the impression that the model was complete when it isn't. Will hopefully have time to finish them this weekend, but we'll see.

Good job !
Nice texturing too...
(big project though,
)
Pragmatic choice for hands and feet, but could the gender types be more pronounced?
aka Dainty or Rugged
Heh, I thought I had done. The male fingers are a little bit chunkier than the female ones (apart from the scale-up they got to fit the male model). Perhaps I should make the effect more pronounced?
Out of curiosity:
How many poly's do each and all of the parts collectively contain?
I'm out of the house at the moment, so will have to get back to you on that. Obviously they're a fair bit higher than the Bioware ones (since that's kind of the whole point). Think the torsos, which are the most poly intense parts by quite a distance, came in at around 1000 (actually, think it was a bit less than that for the female torso). I have the Bioware models in there unrendered and casting shadows instead of having my models do it in an attempt to minimise performance impact (from what I've read, shadowcasting in NWN is quite CPU intensive). Didn't seem to cause any problems when I tested having several of them running around in combat at the same time.
What about them? Since I'm working on the base bodies at the moment, I haven't done any belts for them.
Will the polys ever overlap current clothes and armor models ?
Flex modifiers?
Anatomy? .... er, does anyone happen to remember "Den" from Heavy Metal ?
Since the shape is different, I can't guarantee that there'll never be any clipping with custom models, but am doing my best to make sure it doesn't happen with the default Bioware stuff. Hopefully it won't happen, since the proportions are roughly the same as Bioware's.
To toss my 2 dinars into the arena--the human body is a beautiful thing. Why not have lovely woman and handsome men in a game of fantasy? I like a bit more of a range in female armor/clothing--both common and exotic--but there are plenty of clothing mods out their that it's not too much trouble to put together something to suit ones taste. As the the scantily clad women F1 Grand Prix, etc.? To be polite about this, it's 2015. Appearing in attire designed to enhance sexuality does not require a loss of self-respect. People like to see beautiful people--both men and women; their is nothing at all amiss with that. If there is fault to be had as a society, it is that anyone should be condemned for leading their lives as they wish.
Oh, and I agree with six. The guy should be dressed (or not) equal to the woman.
Yeah, I agree with him as well and will make it so as soon as I've actually done those body parts.
Thanks again for your thoughts everyone.
