I've always brought Zev along, but both times my Wardens heard "already dead in my eyes" and went straight into killing mode.  My Dwarf Commoner might prove less thin-skinned, however.  I would dearly love to hear what Zev has to say in response to that "whoreson" comment. :D

How boring. Much better to go through the entire questline, and right as it's about to finish with you going your separate ways... THEN you kill him. It was always an "enemy mine" situation, we were enemies but I just merely decided to hold off on killing him until his usefulness was over. I feel that makes the strongest point to the Crows that I'm not to be f*cked with, that I will not be their tool and I will kill them when and if they show up again. And when they do in Awakening, guess what happens again? I make another point.

I believe that Alistair was meant to be Goldanna's brother, but after the book "The Calling"  the identity of her mother was retconned.

The only line I remember is "You're a cautious little weasel" (from Zev).  I like to think Ignacio might be one of the first Crows Zev brings down.  I love bringing Zevran to that conversation, really adds a lot to it.

In my playthroughs that have reached that point to date, he has been.  (as I'm sure you can tell from my previous reply)

And I agree, wouldn't miss dragging Zev there for the world, if only to let Ignacio know that the Warden suspects why Ignacio is really in Denerim.

Boring, maybe, but neither my M!Surana nor my F!Mahariel cared.  Their reactions were pretty much along the lines of "Your organization was hired to murder me AND you insult my lover?  You die!"  I can definitely see my opportunist F!Brosca handling him that way, though.  "Get all the money I can from this guy, THEN kill him and loot his corpse and no one cares?  Hell to the yeah!"
