After reading a couple of plot summaries for the novels of Dragon Age. Even if canon it is very interesting *for me to have an adaptation on this so I could play Dragon age chronologically. .

Wouldn't you guys want that? :D

What's the point in playing events that you can't control?

Remember Leliana's Song?. . If that's your point of view then you my friend have not played Leliana's Song I assume.

To answer the question. Easy, instead of reading the novel where your imagination is the only one guiding you to the events why not be in them? Experience it yourself. . this most likely would change your point of view to some characters in DAO, like Loghain. . at DAO i hated that mofo so much every playthrough I did he is either executed by Alistair or by me but after reading Stolen Throne and The Calling, this hatred changed to empathy. The guy had a lot to go through.

But reading isn't that satisfying is it? Imagine seeing what Loghain sees, what Maric thinks. .imagine the possibilities of being in their shoes and experiencing it first hand. Now that sounds satisfying! Imagine what a young Loghain has been through w/c made him what he is at DAO.

Honestly, no I wouldn't want that. It is amazing that we have met characters from the novels and hopefully we will interact with them and see how their choices are influencing Thedas now and in the future but I don't think it is a good idea to transform them into games/dlc. My reasons for this is because we already know the story, the characters and their motives and how it will all end, they would also require additional time and $$$ to produce them instead of continuing with the events/story.

I didn't really liked Leliana's Song and I think it should have been made into a novel or full game because it was too short to get immersed in the story and again we all knew how it will end because DAO Leliana's Past. Novel where we would read about her past until the events of the Fifth Blight would have been better. Short or interactive narrative/video would be the way to bring the novels closer to the people who haven't read them instead of dlcs which could turn up to be great but there is also the chance for them to turn up pretty bad and I believe it isn't worth it.

This is ofc my opinion.
