All though not a 49ers fan, I have been following former rugby star Jarryd Hayne's training progress this summer. If he succeeds, there could more players willing to cross over. He has been seriously critiqued over his running style:

But that seems to be improving:

so, what do you think are the chances of getting a few people from here together and forming a fantasy league?

I was expecting to see some discussion about the drama Russel Wilson is doing with his contract in here.

I am disappointed.

Richard Sherman didn't believe in the Madden Curse either, for ODBJ's sake I hope he's right.

And he's smart for doing so.

He'd be awesome in Chip Kelly's offense but I fully expect the Seahawks to sign him, I don't think that was ever in question.

Also, underestimate the Madden curse at your own peril.

Yes, Russell Wilson is underpaid and he is very much deserving of a better deal. But I believe that this stinginess is not about underestimating his worth as much as it is about stretching salary cap dollars as far as possible in case other problems pop up. I believe Russell Wilson sees the bigger team picture for the time being and this is why he is being patient.
I do feel Seahawks management needs to take care to avoid taking unfair advantage of his loyalty, though. He will need a better contract at some point and if he doesn't get one by next year, I wouldn't blame him for moving elsewhere.

Check out this Bleacher Report NFL article on most underpaid and overpaid:

On a different Seahawk topic, I'm wondering how Pete Carroll is going to do making up next season for one one of the worst calls in recent memory....

This time of year is personal time for NFL players. Here's Aaron Rodgers training some sword skills along with his girl friend, Olivia Munn, who is preparing for her upcoming role in X Men: Apocalypse.

(rumor has it he has given this lovely young woman a ring...)

I will continue to underestimate unrelated correlations/superstitious behaviors.

Curses do not exist, especially if they're related to video games.

More Seahawk items:
Last month, DT Jesse William underwent surgery for Papillary Type 2 Renal Cancer that had progressed to stage 3.

A couple weeks ago, he was cleared to begin light work outs and hopes to be fully recovered soon. To say he is very gutsy is an understatement.

I think Steven a Smith example's were just pretty week If anything it should be an example of why not to pay him so much right  so he if all of a sudden start to play horribly your not screwed and  especially when you look  at rg3 and he only takes one bad hit he out for a year and can't run the ball anymore and your out all the guarantee money I think he he should be being paid in somewhere around where ever the 7 to 8 highest paid quarterbacks

Right now my predictions for Superbowl 50 is Steelers and cowboys maybe San Frisco can pull of some kinda underdog to get to the superbowl But I think my steelers will in it if no major  injuries happen plus the steelers with Big Ben are undefeated after losing in the playoffs and won both superbowls after going losing the year before in the playoffs if they did make not the superbowl the year before though I am bias and everyone should come up with a way for their team to win

If you were concerned about performance then give Wilson Kaepernick's deal (which is very team friendly). 49ers aren't getting to the playoffs even if they look better in some areas, the two best teams in each conference are still the Seahawks and Patriots until proven otherwise, but my prediction was Packers-Steelers or Cowboys-Steelers as well.

As difficult as Marshawn Lynch can be to interview, he does not mind chilling out with Conan O'Brian. Some more off season relaxation:

No hard feelings about last Superbowl:

Expect the Seahawks to be very competitive next season. Although hopeful, I remain a realist as well; there will be many teams playing at an elite level next fall. The two I worry about the most at this point are the Green Bay Packers and the Arizona Cardinals. We all remember how well the Cardinals were doing before they lost Drew Stanton as well as Carson Palmer to injuries last season. How likely is it they'll lose their two best quarterbacks in a single season, two years in a row? Not likely, I think.
And then there are the Packers. This recent and bitter memory will likely be foremost in their thoughts:

They'll be out for blood. And the Seahawks will play the Packers Sept.20th, week 2 at Lambeau Field. The Packers didn't lose a single home game last fall... We'd better be ready for them.
http://www.nfl.com/schedules/2015/REG2

But please don't hate the Seahawks if they win.

Edit: Update on Russell Wilson.

I am so looking forward it to it and hope they move tom brady first game of supension back a week or week one of next year so karma can kick in and he get hurt for the first four games I do feel a little bit bad but he is a cheater and no qaurterback really came out and admitted to anything a couple people kinda said some things but nothing saying they did anything and the text from the deflater is just a knife in  coffin to me and all spy gate just makes not trust that organization ran by a egotistical ****

Also the only reason I want Dallas or San Francisco to go to the super bowl is for superbowl 50 be between some of the historically best teams in the league

I am not expecting Brett Favre to come out of retirement, but then I wasn't expecting Tim Tebow to return either...

The only problem with my Steelers prediction is they have one of the hardest schedules next season (Patriots have a pretty easy schedule comparatively).
