The only problem with my Steelers prediction is they have one of the hardest schedules next season (Patriots have a pretty easy schedule comparatively).

No that is good for the steelers they usually play to their opponents levels I mean one weak they lose to tampa bay 2 weeks after that we get beat by the browns and then they go crazy score 21 in pretty much a minute and a have in two weeks  the n the following 2 games they throw 12 touchdowns  against the colts and the ravens and then gets beat by the jets

As a lifelong Cowboys fan, I haven't been as excited about an upcoming season like I am for this one.

I'm a Panthers fan and they get to meet Dallas on Thanksgiving. It will be the first time Carolina will play on Thanksgiving

The Washington Redskins may not get their new stadium if they do not change their name. Personally, I think they are being unreasonably stubborn about the whole thing...

For whatever reason winning your division sometimes nets you the hardest schedule.

I like the Pigskins alternative name.

So I'm I. I like Dallas, but I have to go with my home team, the Panthers

Just saw the new replies. I need to subscribe to this thread.

Some thoughts...

-- Cam Newton's contract is pretty much par-for-the-course. Good move locking him up.

-- Russel Wilson's thing is a bit more tricky. Though he is a good young talent, no question, he has not really produced like a top-5 QB (never topped 3500 yards or 30 TDs in a season) what to say of the best in the league as he wants to be paid like. On the other hand, the only stat that truly matters at the end of the day is points, and Wilson has proven to consistently get enough of them to win most weeks. Also, Wilson makes Seattle's ground game effective by running the read-option. Without a mobile QB like him running it, they would be much less formidable running the ball.

In the end, I cannot fault Seattle if they let him go, or if they overpay to keep him around.

-- Good to see SEA DL Jesse Williams make a recovery. Also, KC S Eric Berry has made a recovery from lymphoma and could be ready for the start of the season.

when i look at QBs i look at yards and TDs and based on that Wilson is a 3rd tier quarterback, Newton isnt even that

No. This man (Geno Smith) is a third rate quarterback (or worse). I feel sorry for the Jets fan base. They deserve better.

The NFL ranks Russell no. 22 in their list of the top 100 players.

Richard Sherman is ranked no. 11.

Earl Thomas is ranked no. 21.

Jimmy Graham is ranked no. 31.

Consider and don't take them for granted...

Back in 1999 Al Franken wrote a book called, "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot". It appears the man hasn't changed much. This article is dated 7/3/15:
http://bleacherrepor...-of-mean-to-rg3
http://washington.cb...rg3-republican/
Rush Limbaugh thinks the media is mean to Robert Griffin lll because "it's suspected RG3 is a Republican". Righttt...

I feel sorry for RG3. Being notice by Rush Limbaugh in a sympathetic manner is an undeserved embarrassment.

never said Geno was good, even though i like him (im a sucker for terrible quarterbacks), what im saying is Wilson and Newton have done nothing to deserve to be paid more than 4000+ yard and 30+ touchdown guys, statistically even Jay Cutler is better than them...

^ While I get what you're saying, it is a passing league right now, so QBs are valued at a premium rate.

I would not go as far as to say Cutler is a better QB than either of those two. Hell, even Cutler got paid.

Actually I'd take Both over Cutler had about 4000 yards where Newton was at 3650 Cutler scored 30 whereas Newton scored 23 time. Here the reason I'd take Newton over Cutler. He turned it over 24 times compared to Newton 17 which gives your team more chances to scored or at least puts your team in a better position

to play d

No the bears are just idiots they paid the world to a second tier quarterback after having one really good year and not much else They are a cautionary reason why you don't pay one man to much money especially if he a running quarterback who could eventually get hurt and not be anywhere near as good cough cough Rg3 also I maybe on when he sign the big dead he is in now but if was while he was already in Chicago they are even bigger idiots

Edit

Ok he sign in 2014 Now that is actually hilarious to me now The man is a turnover machine since his first full year in the league

Things you should not do when the New York Giants have offered you a long term, 60 million dollar contract and you haven't signed it yet...
http://www.nfl.com/n...ason-pierrepaul

But anyone can have a lapse in judgment, so here's wishing defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul a good and speedy recovery.

As a lifelong Cowboys fan, I haven't been as excited about an upcoming season like I am for this one.

Last season, quarterback Tony Romo, wide receiver Dez Bryant and running back Demarco Murray formed a wickedly effective triumvate, when Rommo was healthy enough to play. The Cowboys let Demarco Murray slip away to Philadelphia, and I think they will regret that. They still have a lot going for them, unless they get bogged down with injuries the way they did last year. Tony Romo needs a cast iron spine...

I think the only reason they regret that it is the people they bring in are going to be pretty poor but I don't think that he is going to blow up in Phidephia

I was surprised the Cowboys let Murray go. Time will tell if that bites them in the backside
