I think Seahawk long snapper Nate Boyer's NFL path back story is pretty cool. He spent 5 years as a US Army green beret before playing football at the University of Texas. Then, he gets picked up by the Seahawks.

I think Packers' castoff Jarrett Boykin could stick for you guys at WR. Basically brings the same thing to the table as Cotchery, but younger.

That's cool.

 

Wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin won't mind having the extra help. He was the leading receiver for the Panthers last season. A very big kid out of Florida State. Hopefully he will improve this season. I believe the Panthers like for Kelvin to get the ball more to take advantage of his size. I like the kid. Tough, but just needs to get more experience under his belt. If he stays free of injuries this season, he will be a big threat against other teams.

If no one else jumps in to start a new thread, I will. If someone else wants to do this, feel free. The title of this present thread would be misleading when off season ends. But I think any new thread should have a link to this one, to carry the conversation forward.
Like last season, I'll step in and keep the thread going when things get quiet. As far as I know, I should have time to do this. But if I don't, I'll let you all know.

The first preseason game and the official end of NFL offseason is the hall of fame exhibition game taking place 8/9/15. It will be between the Pittsburg Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings.

This game is held the weekend of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's induction ceremonies. It will be held at Fawcett Stadium, which is located next to the hall of fame building in Canton, Ohio. I'm not sure how the teams for this game are chosen.

But I still find it hard to believe he wasn't at least aware of what was going on. The new rules should help keep everyone involved honest in the future. If Brady is going to get his suspension reduced, I think he will need to admit to some culpability. We'll see how they rule next week...
