The Venom is the best damn weapon in the game and one of the best introductions that the developers have ever had. It opened up a lot of kits to new playstyles, makes melee builds more viable. Bow to it's greatness.

The Venom is the best damn weapon in the game for console gamers and one of the best introductions for noobs who cannot aim that the developers have ever had. It opened up a lot of kits to new playstyles, makes melee builds more viable. Console gamers should bow to it's greatness.

That's why you see soooooo many entries in the platinum hall of fame for solos from PC gamers? Its funny cause once it was argued to be an ineffective weapon by you. Now since you know that isn't the case you go saying its for noobs. I thought making ineffective (lol) weapon perform well meant a player was good? So which is it?

It is not an ineffective weapon at all, it is just slow against big bosses. How can a weapon that gets killstreaks against mooks be an ineffective weapon. It is too good against mooks who die easily anyway with even silver weapons and it is just agonizingly slower than dozen of weapons in the game when dealing with bosses. Its utility & lol factor is second to none but as a pure damage dealing weapon it lacks the reliability that traditional weapons have.

There are only two types of weapons in this game.

 

1. Those that are so weak, underpowered, and useless that you do your team a disservice by using them because you can't kill things fast enough with them. If you use these weapons, you are behaving like a noob and should feel ashamed.

 

2. Those that are overpowered, and kill things so easily that they make the game easy mode, require no skill on your part, and leave nothing else for your team to kill. If you use these weapons you are behaving like a scorewhore and should feel ashamed.

I think you could have said that on the Master Race topic you locked, rather than immediately locking it. You said it was for vulgar content, but the most vulgar thing there was was the image of a woman with armpit hair. It's sexist. Women have exactly the same right to have hair on their armpits that men do, but it just isn't the social norm. You were wrong to lock a thread which, with a message like the one you have just posted, could have been put back on track.

The Suppressor is alright, I think. But it's too weak against anything which you can't get headshots on to warrant its use. I use it on the Asari Vanguard, I think. Stasis - headshot, boom.

It's not so much weak as that it is balanced similarly to the Harrier by having a similar ammo count to the Carnifex or Paladin despite firing much faster and doing much higher DPS. It's boss DPS is still good, it just runs itself out of ammo after killing a couple of brutes or a single Crab/banshee.

When I use it, I generally carry a Hurrdurricane, Reegar or Pirhana for melting the armor slabs and letting me get back to the fun enemies without being forced to live at an ammobox

Quarian Marksman so it fires at a lulzy rate with lazer beam accuracy and gets another multiplicative bonus to headshots.

I've never tried it on the Quarian Marksman. I shall try it either tonight or tomorrow.
