So we've all seen plenty of dumb antics over the years, but has anyone seen someone do something that's typically reserved for noob actions, but it actually wound up helping?

Here's my example: objective wave with devices. And of course there's that one device that's in the middle of a **** storm. So I'm on the device and then someone else jumped on the device with me. Normally, a dumb move. But because we were swarmed, when I went down the other person was able to finish up the device instead of having to start it over.

Now sure, you could say that the person should have been killing or kiting enemies. But we know that doesn't always work out. So when you have a teammate that can't kill fast, maybe it wasn't so bad to have that backup while in the poop.

I once nuked a friend disabling a device with a possessed Abomb.

It was bad but I laughed....................so yeah.

I can't think of a single instance in which pug behavior has ever helped anything. Ever.

The only time pugs help is when they leave so you can invite a friend

I've doubled on a device before too. When enemies are on top of you and the PUGs don't know how to lead them away, desperate times call for desperate measures.

Yessssss

Sometimes the "rules" don't apply when PuGs are involved.

There's also the "how terrible can I make this situation" factor where you just go in guns blazing. The struggle is real

Pretty much. I try to make a bad situation worse anytime I can.

Agreed. If I see a pug starting a device without positioning correctly, and I know he's gonna get swarmed in a few seconds and there's nothing I can do, I'll position myself correctly and start the device.

going into a gold pug with a Volus sentinel armed with the venom. We got geth on hazard glacier, and I ended up carrying the buggers. Still surprised at how well that setup worked against the geth even though I probably shouldn't be.

Did you know that painting your characters red makes them run faster?

This is a fact. It is proven by science.

If it wasn't Ferrari red it's no wonder.

You're forgetting the importance of white stripes.

A drell with adrenaline module III, in red, with white stripes, is basically in permament bullet time.

There was this one time where a PUG equipped the Medigel transmitter, and it actually was helpful.  Simultaneous double Praetorian lazors and Scion grenades through the hack zone, 4 crosses pop up, and then we all get up again because of SuperPUG and his magic medigel.  He was even a Volus, so he shield boosted us all after getting us up too.  Now that's some serious support classin' if I ever seen it right there.

I just leave and block a faraway spawn while nuking things, so the pugs get killed throwing themselves at the device faster, and I can then kite and complete it in peace. Much easier

Pugs are helpful when I'm playing an infiltrator. I can play like a re-re all game and never get shot at because they soak up all the aggro for me.

wave 10 escort, trolled by someone shutting the reactor on me while i was reviving a friend with zero enemies in there, got my friend up before i died.

made sure the objective was done then got killed on purpose.

then died on on extraction right at the beginning on purpose and so did my friend, nobody extracted even tho they were trying really hard with nukes and gels.

so their dumb troll act wasnt bad because i got to counter troll them and helped me be entertained watching them waste consumables.

which made me feel good to troll a troll.

so am i doing it right?  B)

- pugs bleeding out during objectives. It's easier to solo them without pugs kiting the enemy to me

- closing the reactor when a hack/escort/device is inside. It saved us from the enemies.

- pugs missiling the first Banshee/Atlas/Prime/Praetorian they see on wave 3. Cuz I wouldn't have seen it otherwise; they saved my life tbh

Purple's better. While the speed bonus is less than that of red, the reduction in enemy accuracy will help more by allowing you to run in a straight line instead of cover to cover.

Yeah I got a whale of a story. I got hammered drunk and bought a wedding ring and flew to Vegas to propose to the only woman I ever loved. She said no. That was the stupid part.

What turned out to be good was selling the ring and screwing the hottest escort off of backpage with the money.

Oh you want ME3 related stories?
