Very useful to put an obnoxious Pug out of order for a wave. What? It's VERY useful.  

 

Or... or... kite the entire wave of Banshee on top of a flamer kit, because I don't like to be killed by something I can't see because you're too occupied in pissing napalm with no target in reach.   

Or... ress people with a unit capable of OHK in range, than nuke the zone and achieve a killstreak. Utterly legit.

With those limbs? It's on! You really think you can outgrab a beefy arm trained through years of tennis and watching adult content, and I lied about the tennis?

Jokes aside, here's my own use of "Pug-like behavior" actually paying off:

- Puggernaut Siege Pulse Spam, you know the ones, who act like every other button on their controller is broken and die 15 times on wave 1 because screw everything else SIEGE PULSE! Well. I run my Jugg with a Lancer so I don't need to worry about ammo. On occasion, going derpface crazy pulsing like a fool can save me from going down while the lancer cools down, usually when surrounded at a distance and a hex shield can't cover all directions.

 

- I lashed a nearly dead Possessed Abomination towards myself. Instead of using Biotic Charge to get away from the Praetorian behind me. It blew up and killed me as I was being Praetorian grabbed. Due to this, I was able to Gel despite the sync kill.

 

- I tried to heavy melee a banshee that was perfectly set to sync me, out of sheer panic. Due to lag, my punch somehow landed while I was being grabbed, killing it and saving myself. I then promptly got dropped through the floor and glitched back to the LZ about 20 seconds before extraction. Buggy? Yes. But undeniably awesome that it somehow worked in my favor.

I run the lancer with incendiary ammo, and power amplifier then I use siege pulse as an offensive tool. That is the only way that I can play him without getting extremely bored.

Yeah, as an offensive TOOL. I mean the people who wouldn't even fire the gun, but still take two heavy ones just to murder their cooldown so all they can do is die because they're too stupid to press any button besides L2.

wave 10 escort, trolled by someone shutting the reactor on me while i was reviving a friend with zero enemies in there, got my friend up before i died.

 

made sure the objective was done then got killed on purpose.

 

then died on on extraction right at the beginning on purpose and so did my friend, nobody extracted even tho they were trying really hard with nukes and gels.

 

so their dumb troll act wasnt bad because i got to counter troll them and helped me be entertained watching them waste consumables.

which made me feel good to troll a troll.

 

so am i doing it right? 

 

No.  Just go into a faraway corner and chain cloak if possible.  Barring that, make sure you keep moving as far away from them as possible i.e. if they are camping the Giant LZ on Wave 11 and you are up in the tower, you see them coming your way, work around the back and up the ladder so that you are still on opposite sides from them.  Don't shoot anything unless it's after you, stay alive and get Love Survivor.  Be sure to use plenty of missiles once they are spectating.

 

Also, if you Ops Pack you can survive inside the reactor

true, but watching them burn through those consumables and still lose was worth it. 

 

plus i didnt have to spend any consumables to get my revenge. 

 

ive done lone survivor revenge before, it feels good, but earlier today the other revenge felt better haha. plus i was still working on my 1st cup of coffee at the time so i was still feeling lazy.

I do it all the time. Blending in with pugs is my objective. I also avoid communicating with the chatty ones, as I do not want to disrupt their natural habitat with BSN logic.
