I just started playing The Witcher 2 today, and must say I am blown away by the detail the creators have poured into that game.
From the fact that every NPC is named, and you can interact with them (even if they are not necessarily friendly, which actually improves the immersion);
to the detail to the male and female animations (Triss walks with such a feminine grace, compared to the strange slightly bent wide stance of female characters in the latest DA game);
to the detailed combat - I play normal, and find some encounters very tough (while I found hard on DAI to be no challenge at all);
to the great cutscenes, and excellent dialogue
And earlier today I had a quick look at something in my Skyrim game, and also found such attention to some detail given by Bethesda in that game.
I've always found it difficult to think about playing Geralt, as he is such a pre-determined character, but after today, I am really looking forward to the experience (and that after trying unsuccessfully to start a new playthrough for DA:I, where I just couldn't make myself go past character creation, as I found the game just so dull in so many aspects - see my many posts in the DAI forum if you're interested, but I'm not here to pick a fight, which is why I post here in off-topic)
