But not out of realm of possibility and probability.

Your examples are unequal scale because the scale of work involved is much different. Programming a feature: Doable within a fixed time-frame. Jupiter mission requires several months in travel time alone. One is possible and even likely, the other is impossible with the current budget & technology.

There is very little backing to your statements.

Now you're just being obtuse.

I am in love with Zither!

Magic + Music = Dance Magic = Amazing :)

With him new abilities for mages will be added in the game.

I don't know about Isabela and Skywatcher.

And I want to see spirit warrior, nature spells, spirit healing and ranger abilities. With Zither!, I have bard's songs :)

If possible Virtuoso specialization in Single Player will be awesome too.

All three of the new characters are comprised of mostly new Active abilities and anywhere from some to a lot of new Passives B)

3) You have no data on how big the playerbase is

I will just say to this one specific point we do have data, plus we all have anecedotal experience as well.

When the game first came out, xbox1/pc/Ps4 all had the same challenge goals and were all completed (successfully) at the same rate.

However, steadily over the months, the challenge goals for xbox1/pc have declined to the point where these platforms now have just 40% of the ps4 goal.  Is this because the ps4 community grew that much bigger over the past months?  No.

Anecdotal experience:  You cannot tell me that you don't notice that the playerbase is shrinking when you pug.  Personally, I have landed into countless empty lobbies (perilous, threatening, routine - doesn't matter) or into a game that is already on wave 3+.  These things happen to me with noticeably more frequency as each week goes by.  Fairly certain I am not alone with these experiences either.

Like everyone else I'm excited for the DLC, but am still fearful for the longterm viability of this game.

FTFY. Inconclusive lack of evidence. Anecdotal experience is not evidence either.

Pointless to be fearful. Be productive, or have fun.

Try Pugin from new zealand! Endless empty lobbies 70% of the time , even weekends sometimes.. luv the game btw but was starting to loose interest after just 5 weeks of playing ..to be fair Ive been playing alot and nothing else.. this Tuesdays DLC is exciting indeed! feel for those that have been waiting for content since release.. IMO it's a great game with tons of potential for future DLC and expansion..am a fan for sure! As are most that contribute to these forums no matter how bored or frustrated they must feel at times..

I'm in Canada and I get empty lobbies Saturday mornings all the time. I'm in the same timezone as about 40% of the whole North America and I can't fill 1 freaking Perilous lobby. If that's not alarming for Bioware, I wonder what is...

I feel personally responsible for your empty lobbies since I've barely played in the last two weeks and, prior to that, I saw your name in my perilous pugs so frequently I can only assume you and I are part of a teensy weensy pool of players pugging in our timezone :P

...maybe more people will come around after Tuesday.

I've never come across a perilous lobby with people playing..have had people join several times while farming with my AW.. for a multi award winning "Game of the year" you would think more resources would go into building DAIMP fanbase and maximise it's full potential..

I really wish that it were technically possible to consolidate the platforms and end the system aparteid. You may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one.

I'm from New Zealand too and to add insult to injury, we have to play with Australians ;)

But there is more than one reason why we have empty games and it is partly due to play numbers but mostly due to the strict ping/region locking they have in place.

I believe people in UK are having the same problem, being an Island Nation away from the main land mass...  People might have great ping but still have **** internet connection... There should be something that stops sub standard connections from hosting games.

I want to tell you so badly. I think I can't. Is NDA still applies?

Well, all of the new characters are awesome. They have much different playstyles.

Yeah, it's believable.

The GOTY award was for the single player, not the multiplayer. I'd say it was the best single player RPG of the year, no contest there. But is it really GOTY to begin with? I mean, every car manufacturer claim they got the car of the year... Manipulating statistics isn't a new thing...

DAIMP suffered from 2 things: they released an unfinished product riddled with game breaking bugs and they took forever to fix them. It's no surprise the player base dwindled as much as it did. There are new games coming out every week, at least 1 big popular game every month. It took 4 months to fix the key bug and they haven't release "real" content since the launch yet. Had they released the game with a more polished products, they would have release new content by now and the player base would be much healthier.

At least they're actually releasing something now and there are encouraging signs with a couple devs giving real feedback on the forums. It's pretty freaking late, but they might finally have understood their community might be a bit more important than they thought. For the last few days, I have no complaints whatsoever about the feedback we have, the new content coming Tuesday and there's even the shadow of balance changes drawing up on the horizon. That's the kind of support we were asking for, I'm glad we get the chance to see it and Bioware hasn't written off this game yet.

Sounds awesome! Will the new abilities get corresponding new rings that buff them?

Makes me wonder if Isabela is playable will they add other past characters in the future such as Merrill, Fenris, Zevran, Oghren & Shale.

A lot of people will hate that, but I'm actually very intrigued by the idea of giving semi-high profile characters something to do & explain their role in that global mess; and with almost no strings attached.

Dance Magic indeed!

That would be cool. Perhaps a Ranged Rogue with summonable Deep Roads minions: starting with Deepstalkers on a skill tree and then going through Cave Spiders, War Nugs, then Bronto as a final skill?

It has been suggested even before DAI came out, but bioware's response to that suggestion has always been not possible due to technical difficulty.
