Are the DA comic's even a part of the games canon? I haven't read them but I hear almost every character is a dick in them.
I'm sure the ones Gaider wrote (with Alistair, Varric and Isabela) are 'canon', if your choices in DAO-DA2 are the same as in the comics (Alistair king, Isabela not sent to the Qunari, Sten freed and most likely found his sword). The MP team is seperate from SP. SP wouldn't get more resources if the MP team didn't exist, it just simply wouldn't exist. So stop whining because other people like what you don't like.

Actions have consequences, and people who commit the action of a crime should pay the consequences associated with that crime. Doesn't have to be what you said, but shouldn't be letting them go scot-free.

Nope. It is entirely new.
I hope Isabela is in the single-player game as an interactive NPC/Companion....(Any news on that front?) She's my #1 companion from DA II that I always wanted to see in Inquisition- her and Merrill. But if her inclusion is only in the MP....then I guess I have reason to start playing MP sessions....have never done that yet, still focused on SP.
But my feelings for the Raider Queen of the Eastern Seas may just win me over.....

They really love their anti-aging cream in thedas. :/ I was hoping, that she would have aged more (instead of looking like she went back in time).

Well the multiplayer is a ton of fun, it's like playing SP combat but without tactical cam,
and with really good AI

. Im not a very big fan of multiplayer games and did a big eye roll 
when i heard the news. But i thought i would give it a go and its great fun . Took a bit of getting use to and it was a bit buggy at the start 
. Having loads of fun and cant wait for Tuesday

Yep. Grey warden Alistair also mentions the events of the comics. I suppose the only circunstance were the comics don't happen is if Alistair is a drunk or dead. But if he is a warden or king, then yes, the comics are canon.

Apparently drunk Alistair rejoined the Wardens after sobering up, but apparently Varric still has that banter even if Alistair is dead, so they happened anyway.

An obvious explanation could be magic. I mean, they can do all sorts of crazy stuff, why not some cosmetic enchantment here and there?
Not really, Varric looks more 'mature' than his DA2 version, Alistair also looks...well, 'different'. Cassandra& Leliana had changed in a right way. Morrigan looks older, but for some reasons keeps her 10-yrs old outfit. Same true for Isabela, I'm afraid. I like the face on that shot, but Pirate Queens still ignore pants and wear denim bandanas. Still, she's supposed to have 3 more or less different skins (tiers 1-4).
