Me and a friend were messing with a "smooth frame" override that didn't edit the core and we discovered that cartoon graphics were the east to adapt to NWN core and real life ones that used while body realistic physics didn't adapt well on male meshes. this explains the incapability of NWN2 items in regards to NWN1 Complex triangles in the Framework can only be made to go so far without rewriting the entire game. so maker please remember to keep things simple you can still do wonderful things with simple frames just look at Prefect world screenshots as well as forsaken world screenshots.

someone did appear to beat us to the punch but I have ZERO love for their cheesecake bikini girl inspired display i would prefer the original undies edited to feature a knot instead of a metallic medallion IF edited at all.

In defence of my body rebuild, it wasn't meant to be cheesy, but thanks for your valuable contribution. Now we can have a whine and cheese party...

The rebuild I'm working on was designed as a new texture and a base for me to build clothing and armour around, not as an underwear mod. Modelling knots or medallions on the base would have detracted from this purpose, so I didn't do that. Even were I inclined to do so, I couldn't simply 'paste in' the underwear from Bioware's texture since the UV map on my model is not the same. So I drew some that were meant to be unobtrusive when modifications are made to the texture.

If you don't like my model/texture I don't mind, and I look forward to seeing the one you and your friend are creating. But don't hate mine for doing a poor job at something it wasn't designed to do.

And to bring things back to the Elder Scrolls...

How about a sweetroll.

Yeah, not the most exciting addition, but I was tired and wanted to do something quick.

Must be my state of mind tonight, but when there was mention of a sweetroll, I imagined an undersized troll that's half troll, half animated pastry, attacking during a noble's feast. They don't have those in the Elder Scrolls world, do they?  :P

The Aureal, or Golden Saint... Not that there's anything saintly about these imperious, usually bad-tempered Daedra termagants whose most likely reaction to a mortal approaching them is to ignore it, tell it to get lost or just cut its head off to impress upon it how contemptibly useless it is...

PHoDaureal1.jpg

Largely based upon the TES4 Shivering Isles version, but not intended to be completely identical, more a sort of PHoD extrapolation... She still needs a bit of work. I pulled all the textures for the Golden Saint armour out of Oblivion and cut them to tiny pieces so as to glue the pieces back together in a way that worked for NWN... and if I could just get her stupidly dangly danglymesh skirt to behave itself and stop clipping, I'd be happy.

PHoDaureal2.jpg

Aureal (and Mazken) are based around my model for Selena, Moon Goddess of Atlantis (see the images in last months CCC, with the Waystones) but since she's got loads of mesh smoothing, especially on pelvis and legs, to make her resoundingly curvaceous, she's hellishly high poly, which is fine for a PC but given that someone might want to use more than one Aureal and/or Mazken in an Area, I decided to make these ladies a bit lower poly to make them friendlier as NPCs.

The Mazken, or Dark Seducer... not that you'll get one to seduce you. Kill you on sight, yes, but seduce... no. With these equally bad-tempered Daedra vixens you can look, from a distance, but don't try and touch - unless you're feeling suicidal.

PHoDmazken1.jpg

As with the Aureal, she still needs a bit of fine tuning. Again inspired by the TES4 Shivering Isles version with a sort of 'PHoD not bothering to be identical' nuance. For example, though her armour uses the appropriate Oblivion textures all cut to bits and hit with bricks, I've made her skin tones a bit bluer 'cause she was starting to look like a Drow with my first textures. Making her a little more colourful makes her a better companion to the Aureal... They could make good Goddesses of Day and Night or something in a Module that wasn't anything to do with The Elder Scrolls, for instance... He said trying to sound all wise and practical with regards useful multiple functionality of the models, to hide his continued rabid foaming about danglymesh skirts that keep clipping.

PHoDmazken2.jpg

I'm now attacking the Shivering Isles Mushroom Tree with a big brick coated in a special fungicide that causes trimesh to become the exact shape of a big, weird mushroom.

Funny you should say that, as when I Googled 'sweetroll' to get a reference picture, this was one of the results...

I didn't think I would have anything to contribute this month but now there is a possibility that I might but I will need some help to do so. What I would like to do is to make a number of elder scrolls flags using Lisa's Standards (or Army Flags). My problem is that the flag portion of the models that Lisa created have an aspect ratio of 1:1 whereas all but one of the textures I have, have an aspect ratio of 16:9. Would someone be willing to edit the placeable model plc_fl31.mdl and the placeable walkmesh file plc_fl31.pwk to that aspect ratio please?. If that were to be done, I could take it from there.

Thanks in advance for any response.

TR

I've done this, but am waiting for my account on the Vault to be approved so I can post it. If you want to PM me an email address I can send the file as an attachment, otherwise will send you the link when the account's been approved. Didn't change the UV map, so just resize your image to the full size of the texture and it'll display as 16:9 on the flag in-game.

EDIT - actually, just posted it to the address below, so you can download it whenever:

Actually we were trying to see if we can get the NWN frames to look more like the ones form prefect world; this required redoing the skeletal structure and we found major clipping problems that led to an overall incompatibility. So we are gonna pass on it for now because to be honest the original idea was to soothe out the angels on the toons movements so they were not as boxy.

furthermore again I notice how you guys VENOMOUSLY take my words out of context I will not ask again PLEASE STOP  taking my words out of context I am a VERY VERY literal person. i was saying your example just showed off as sexist you don't like that that's not my problem I wasn't the one that chose that particularity setup for displaying the textures.

on a side note tows dammed things OMG XD (its a mod you have to look up)

You know what I find that overly inappropriate because SHE had to be self thought because of that very same mentality. the teacher in her high-school prereq class that would have gotten her a sure in to work for Dreamworks animation studio by age 22 refused to actually teach her anything instead telling her to figure it out herself. in case you were wondering that just the same as ITS IN THE VUALT when I have been all over every file I could including off site off vault ones looking for the "one" that you claim exists but actually DOES NOT.

to make matters worse SHE has been the only person helping me because alto of you are too vain tool foolish and/or don't care enough to actually help. and you of all people that think your all that but refused to help in the least HAVE NO PLACE TO TALK on this issue because of it! same for you GunnersaurusRexbecure you scoffed at the idea of helping me make custom NPC's for my server therefore you have -100% say in the custom server hack expansion that you scoffed and laughed at about. (yes i remember that i wonder if you do)

Yeah, I've actually only ever played on three servers, none of which were run by you. I have absolutely no doubt that yours is fantastic though.

So no, unfortunately I don't recall scoffing and laughing at your custom NPCs or custom hack expansion for your server, as it never happened. Kinda wish it had though - I'm sure I'd have come up with something suitably witty...

And in another probably vain attempt to drag this thread back to the Elder Scrolls...

Morrowind trees would be nice too

I know that Morrowind and NWN were made around the same time. So I can't imagine that the morrowind head models couldn't be remade to work in NWN, they're probably around the same poly I'd imagine. Some of the authors for some of the best morrowind heads are still around modding for skyrim. It would be nice to convert some of the amazing heads some of their creators made for use in NWN. I think almost all of them have it on their usage rights that you are welcome to use them for whatever as long as credit is given. I think the only issue is that morrowind heads and hair were separate models unlike NWN.

I'd also love to see some of the armor models from morrowind specifically. The iron armor is one of my favorites. It just looks so wonderfully clunky and unwieldy. Exactly what I see the 1st level adventurer wearing.

TR, you are quite correct about the spam, so...

--- Spam removed ---

Shadowing, I agree with you, Almalexia seems made for PHoD's talents.  PHoD, those vixens are perfect for a pair of goddesses in my world; it's always a treat to see what you've created from a pile of spleens and a hefty amount of well thrown bricks.  These latest two are...er...nice.  :bandit:

Well I have made 11 elder scrolls wall hangings (they are supposed to hang in the air) ->

I have also created blueprints which says what each one is.

Still working on the flags...
