Chitin_Armory.jpg

As a complement of the chitin armor i have converter all the chitin weapons and shields in Morrowind: This includes a battle axe, a club, a dagger, a short sword, a spear, a short bow, a shuriken, a large shield and a tower shield.

Made with the original game files and some MODs. Another useful content for a Dark Sun module.

I don't remember to have seen, bonemold weapons in any  TES games. There is dragonbone weapons in Skyrim but it's not the same.
Any way, I don't have plans for that , so go ahead if you wish....

By the time the month is over you guys are going to import every freaking armor/weapon in Morrowind, aren't ya?

Don't take that as an indication to slow down...

Do you remember those stained glass window textures of the nine? Well...

1es_sd_ssts1.gif

As no-one seemed interested, I have cobbled together that lot of wall placeables. There are 9 windows with 3 levels of brightness each. To drive them there are a pair of scripts. One goes in the OnEnter event of each area that uses one or more of these. There is also one for the corresponding OnExit event of the same areas. When used these scripts should be of the fire and forget variety.

As in the real world the colours only show on the dimmer side of stained glass windows I decided that there are three varieties of behaviour depending on whether the viewer is outdoors, indoors above ground or indoors and underground. For simplicity's sake I made the decision that those that are underground would always be bright reasoning that nobody would waste money on these if they couldn't see them and would therefore place illumination behind them.

The indoors above ground and outdoors behaviour is easiest to explain with pictures.

5am%20Exterior.gif

5am outdoors (still nighttime) - The lightest coloured window models have the selfillumecolor set so that you can see them in the dark.

5am%20Interior.gif

6am%20Exterior.gif

6am outdoors (dawn)

6am%20Interior.gif

6am indoors (dawn)

7am%20Exterior.gif

7am outdoors (daytime)

7am%20Interior.gif

7am indoors (daytime)

Upon the Pc entering an area with these windows and code in it, the code checks the time and sets the windows as appropriate. After that the pseudo heartbeat code is set running so that the appropriate window(s) is/are present all the time the PC is in the area.

Getting these to work has taken a bit of time and hasn't run smoothly (see this thread in the scripting section) but all seems OK now.

Hope you like.

I forgot to mention -

The script, is set up for the default times of dawn & dusk as well as a game hour being equivalent to two minutes of real time. Just in case someone wants their module to run on a different schedule I have used easily alterable constants placed at the start of the script.

Currently the script is virtually uncommented. I was so amazed when I got a pseudo-stack working on the first try, with only a couple of syntax errors (stupid semi-colons!), that I have yet to get around to it. .

HoursToSeconds and GetIsDawn/Day/Dusk/Night refer to the actual module properties, so you can easily make the script general rather than using the defaults if you wish.

Errrgh... sorry...

My mother's been in hospital and I'd forgotten all about this Elder Scrolls stuff. Damn...

Haven't sent anything in and now I discover I've deleted the folder where the stuff was neatly isolated. The Mushroom Tree (added a couple more different ones too) is easily retrieved from my Atlantis Hak (which is what I did them for in the first place) but I have no idea where the Aureal and Mazken have gone. I didn't do them for my own use, they just worked as low-poly rebuilds of my main character for the Atlantis Modules so they're not in my main Haks anywhere. Must've backed them up, must've done... somewhere... I'll find them, I'll find them... I'm dealing with it...

PHoD - seems you have a lot on your plate to deal with at the moment - hope your mum is better and that you find anything you may have misunderdeleted on your comp.  Thank again for making and sharing all your wonderfully crazy stuff. :)

Oh, I definitely wouldn't have actually deleted anyone with such good curves, it's just a question of where I hid them.

Yes, my mum's been resurrected via voodoo rituals yet again, thanks...

Suddenly, horrifyingly, PHoD goes mad! No, wait... already was...

Abruptly, terrifyingly, PHoD goes sane!

Hm. No. Didn't think anyone would believe that... doesn't really sound credible, even to me and I'm a loony...

Anyway, the point is, it's still May in a localized timewarp surrounding this Shabby Hyena HQ. Honestly. There is no question of it being June. It's May; just so long as we're clear on that point and aspersions of lateness are not cast...

PHoDmtrees.jpg

SEE! some not particularly interesting additional Mushroom Trees extracted from my ATLANTIS Haks and thrown in the TES CCC box. Be assured I have found the Aureal and Mazken in a back room pelting each other with cushions, told them to behave and posted all necessary rubbish files to TAD on this sixth extra day of the Widescreen Director's Cut Box Set Special Edition May which it still unequivocally is until further notice.
