Alright, am I the only one here who feels insulted that a SP character ends up being a non-important story character in the multiplayer mode? She deserved so much better.
I guess there will be a lot of people happy to play as her in the MP, however I'm not liking what they're doing with the MP. It should had been a new character, someone we never met before to play the duelist role. For me, Izzy deserves a spot in a single player DLC or in a future game, just not in the MP. It's just wrong on so many levels. Yeah, yeah, some of you will disagree with me but that's not how I see Isabela at all. She was my gal pal in DA2 and I was always bringing her around with Aveline. This MP thing is a big joke that I'm forced to deal with sadly... Hurray...
Edit: The only reason why I'm so AGAINST her being a MP character is because of all the decisions we made in DA2's SP. You romanced her? Betrayed her? Etc? Won't matter anymore. The MP is lore breaking and headcanon breaking.
Isabela in the MP is Headcanon Breaking (or where the OP is clearly overreacting because he cares too much about Izzy?)

She better have some spot in the SP then because clearly they can use the skin for SP purpose as well.

Considering how DA2 companions have gotten the short end of the stick in DAI (Varric excluded obviously), I wouldn't be surprised if they all now became available as MP characters.
Hm, maybe that means we might finally see Zevran reappear as a MP char as well?

This would be a terrible, horrible idea. I would personally never forgive them for mistreating those characters like they are garbage if they did. MP characters belong in the MP and SP characters belong in the SP.

Meh, I don't like this idea as well. When my friend sent my screenshot of Izzy from Inquisition I was so excited, but then... I heard it's only for MP. My fav DA2 character has been degraded to some MP crap. Yay...

Imagine if this was a paid DLC... Isabela is already considered a fanservice character for a lot of people, and I can see why they're trying to bring more players to the MP, however this decision is just terrible and I can't understand why they couldn't use her in a SP DLC instead. Some sort of Mark of the Assassin DLC featuring Isabela, depending on what you did to her or with her in DA2 would have been a LOT better, in my honest opinion.

Actually I am happy about it, since the DLC is free. I have hopes that in the future they will be appearing on a SP DLC, the DA 2 companions that is.
If not, well it better to have something than nothing coftablemissionscof, maybe I am just a positive person. Not.

Because for me the MP doesn't belong in this game, it should be a separate game, a standalone project and away from the original franchise. Which is why I call it garbage.

Teddie, its actually a perfect scheme. They did say we wouldn't be putting any 'new' characters in the player's party for single player expansions, with her inclusion in MP data packets she's no longer new and therefore may have the possibility of an appearance in an SP story.

Yeah... ¬_¬ They better not screw up her lines.
Knowing that whether you romanced her or not in DA2 probably won't affect her lines just... pisses me off.

Think of it this way......they bothered to model her for Inquisition which means she might show up in future DLC. Bioware never let you play as a known character in Mass Effect multiplayer and until now they didn't allow it in DA:I MP, which means they most likely have something planned for her.
If she does make it into the story as a possible companion i think that would be great, being that Iron Bull, Varric and Hawke know of her it could make for some awkward, funny moments. She was one of my favourites when playing DA2 so i would welcome any DLC involving her.

Eh. Doesn't really bother me that much. I love Isabela and I'd love it if she was in the SP but her being in the MP doesn't diminish her in any way. It's just a cool, fanservice-y MP feature. Nothing to get worked up over IMO.

Part of me is quite frankly happy she in the MP. So is not forced on me in SP, since I don't really like her. (personal taste, of course)
The other part now know her model is there, and probably will be put on some other DLC for SP, even if just to explain why she work for the Inquisition. And probably will force my Inquisitor to like her enought to keep her as an agent. Urgh.
Not all that happy, frankly. ![]()

Bioware is doing a favor throwing a poor one dimensional character in the MP. I would prefer a completely new character indeed, but that is because I don't personally like Isabela. Also, I don't like the idea of having more human characters there, while the other races are very poorly represented.
Besides, the MP is hardly a big joke. Bioware's negligence towards it over several months might be considered a big joke, but nowadays things seem to be being taken seriously.

It'd be obviously better if they put her in a sp dlc, but We don't know their plans. The fact that they put her in MP might mean they plan to use her in a dlc later on.

The MP is just as lore breaking as the SP gameplay of all three DA games
