Why do you need headcanon for everything? That's one of things I'll never get about this fanbase nowadays
Who knows? I give up trying to argue with them nowadays...
Looks much better on Jack. :3 Just my personal taste.
So you and Cheria.... ![]()

This is great, and here I thought she was going to ruin my SP experience. That broad was annoying she can stay in MP as far as I'm concerned.
The Inquisitor's power came after Isabela's actions, and she didn't do anything related to the Inquisition or its area of interest.
I can understand your last point though.
The Inquisitor's power came after the Mayor of Crestwood's actions and didn't do anything related to the Inquisition or its area of interest, yet we still judge him.
We investigate in the area for a matter related to the Inquisition. We don't search anything related to Isabela. Plus, the one who should've judged her either decided no to (Kirkwall) or weren't Able to keep her (qunari). The Inquisitor's power came after the Mayor of Crestwood's actions and didn't do anything related to the Inquisition or its area of interest, yet we still judge him.

Mind you, I won't care if Bioware would give is the option. I'm not against it. I just don't see why the inquisition would judge her.
What the mayor of Crestwood did had nothing to do with why we were there. We come across it while doing our interests, but his actions didn't affect us in the slightest.
Still makes no sense why Kirkwall wouldn't, considering Aveline as captain of the guard expresses she wants to.
But no, everyone has to love that little... ![]()
I didn't mean the major's actions are related to the Inquisition. I meant We found out about it (While nobody knew about it) When investigating an area of interest. Isabela's actions are known (well, some) And She already 'faced' justice. What the mayor of Crestwood did had nothing to do with why we were there. You can still give her to the qunari. I mean, she escapes and all, but if you think she deserves punishment...
If you save her, you become the Champion. And you can Shield her. Aveline isn't already an exact model of making her friends facing justice, she won't go against hawke.
Granted Hawke is 'forced' to protect her, but that's not The only case in DA2. Hawke protected Anders Regardless of the player's opinion. It's not really about everyone loving Isabela.
She has not faced justice at all. Escaping the Qunari before they even get that far is not a punishment.
My Hawke wanted her arrested, but like with Anders and several other things in Bioware games they make it so 'our characters' aren't really our characters. Now they do it again by forcing Isabela to canonically be an accepted member of the Inquisition, despite people knowing what she did.
Bioware loves her, and they will make you love her too.

No need to sound rude
No need to sound rude
That's not being rude.
Rude is forcing a character people may not like as a canon member of what is supposed to be a group you shape.

Eh, you can recruit Corypheus minions of all people. It's not like the Inquisitor is a shining example of morality. While I don't like Isabela for who she is, at least she makes for a more interesting MP character then a generic nobody.

With those people, you get to choose whether they join, go to prison, get executed, etc. There is no choice with her.
I disagree. I prefer the blank slates like ME3MP over what DAIMP did.

Meh... Izzy isn't so bad in the MP but I still don't think she belongs there. Her lines are nice, but after hearing them over and over I'm already tired and bored of the MP. I'm thinking about switching the voices off.

Not all of her lines are fine. I just played as her a bit, because I thought: Why not?
After one match I have no desire to play as her again. She offered sex to archer after few 'friendly' drinks. That was Isabela, I know, but Isabela before she became Hawke's LI. So... apparently BioWare don't give a **** about people who romanced her in DA2. This is why I didn't like the idea of her being in MP in the first place.
Che dame Isabela who, if you did Zevran's quest after her love confession, still offered Zevran to have sex with her?Not all of her lines are fine. I just played as her a bit, because I thought: Why not?

Messing up with players choices isn't a new thing with BioWare, though. It might be that our interpretation of Isabela isn't the same as Cheryl when she wrote Isabela for the MP as well. The artist in me wants to support her but the fanboy in me is screaming: "Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?!" ... *pouts* Oh well... as long as she doesn't actually "cheat" on Hawke...

What do you mean with ''Cheat''? Having sex?
Sorta, it depends on how you interpret your Hawke. Some don't mind that she sleeps with whoever she wants, while others would rather join for a threesome, while there are players are are uncomfortable about sharing Isabela and want commitment. Ain't hard to figure out, right?
Personally, my lesbian Hawke was against Isabela sleeping with Zevran, she was jealous and grossed out because she's not attracted to males.
My other male Hawke was fine with a threesome.
My other female Hawke never met Zevran (because he was killed by the Warden in that world state -- I had to ignore this quest due to the bug).
It's all about headcanons, really... which is the point of the original post. Role playing, choices, etc.
I understand and agree. I just didn't understand why you wrote the '' before and after the word.Sorta, it depends on how you interpret your Hawke. That's annoying. I'd been tempted just to try it to see Isabela's lines but not now. The whole degree of openness of her relationship with Hawke is something that should have been left to the player. Personally my Hawke it as open only if they are both participating such as with Zevran. Blazen cheating on the person they claim to love wouldn't be. Not completely surprised Bioware are happy running roughshod over the relationship because of DA2's relative unpopularity they feel can get away with it.
Capone probably posted this already but here's a bunch of one liners from Izzy. Lots of references to Kirkwall, no mention of Hawke.
