Still waiting for the ultra coveted thousand cuts ring......
I've got a cloak of shadows ring. Is that close enough?

It sure can!
I can't recall the exact split between each item type but how would everyone rank their needs for high end items?
For example:
40% weapons
40% accessories
10% armor upgrades
5% runes
5% armors
That's a actually a really good breakdown for most players who are in my position. (The level 20+blues)
It would seem to be a good breakdown for players at, "near all loot attained" level as well.
I wouldn't put any priority over weapons or accessories having a higher value than one or another, simply because there are a few accessories and a few weapons in each category that are simply game changers.
HoK obviously, and Sup CD, Sup Stam, being the standouts
And for weapons, you can't put a value on a weapon that catapults your damage output by an exceptional margin.
How many willpower promotions would it take for someone to cover the distance between Slayer or Starfang, to get the same benefit of picking up Sul blade? (not even taking the pull of abyss effect into account)
So for players in the high end blues, and endgame/near end game, I think your breakdown is really good above.
The problem is, Can it be adjusted for each "invisible loot score" placement area?
I think players climbing the ranks, are gonna need certain items more than people who are waiting on their final upgrade pieces.
Runes/(maybe armors?), the reason I say maybe, is because I crafted all of mine, and never had a problem crafting as many armors as I wanted.
In fact of the almost 200 different armors, I've crafted all but about 15 of them. Those mage armors use up a lot of cloth.
Speaking from a purely selfish point of view, I'll never need another rune ever again. Players starting out will need them, but if the dice rolls could be adjusted for whatever "invisible chest score/Chest opening tier?" the players are currently in, then this is something that could alleviate a lot of frustration from seeing runes behind, 80-90 percent of the purples I see.
Anyone else find that they get more daggers than anything else? I have a serious lack of single handed weapons and staves but pretty much have every purple and blue ever created for daggers including dupes.
Because there are so many of them there is higher chance of dropping, so shouldn't they nerf the drop rate?
I get a lot highland dirks, sometimes duplicates in the same chest....
Play more, so that your PhatLewtScore will go up.

For me it is the other way around - I miss a lot of good daggers
and get tons of one and two handed trash instead
Have been playing DAIMP for 4-5 weeks now and spent 300K on chests, have picked up some decent uniques like moon axe , Axe of the Marshes, Walking death, Agony, 2× wicked grace, 2x Tenasarin, Seiges End (boooo @berserk) Enchanters staff, 2x superb attack rings, superb magic, dexterity, cunning, resistance amulates... and for blues -2x Firm tournament axe, dwarven prooving sheild, Fury of the veil, 3 x mind blast staves, rare HOK ring, 2x CD amulet, stamina amulet.. plenty more but am at work so can't remember ..
How is it I've been playing longer and spending more gold than you and you have things I have only dreamed of getting?
Grinds my gears when I see everyone in the world with Fury of the Veil!

I got one and salvaged it. I sure hope Isabella doesn't have that skill.
Got a purple dagger out of room chest today. Flame or something. Not better than any I have but still exciting.
Hoping they up the inventory space. I haven't run out yet, but I salvage junk fairly quickly.
They're making it so you can salvage in the open chest screen and also bulk salvage from the inventory screen.
Not coming on Tuesday but I'm going to look in to what's required to change this number.
I'm not even at the limit or have ever hit it as I salvage pretty heavily, but there still aren't enough likes in the forum to describe my attitude towards this.

If it helps, I'm hitting the cap on XB1 with just under 200 inventory items, excluding all 152 crafted armours.
I run a brutally tight inventory of around 120 items, so my loot bandwidth is 16 large chests,
but I'm sure for those who like to keep alternative special items,
they will be hitting the cap every handful of chests.
Oh, and if I recall it was a post from Amelia that last referenced the matter.

i gotta say everything you guys have done these past couple of days and into next week has been awesome. this is how BSN should be!
Just remove the Berserker stat, I'd like to use Wintersbreath please.
Can we please remove the berserk items FFS? A shield with berserk completely defeats the purpose.
I rather like it, but yes it is pretty much cursed. Whether we should have such cursed items is subject to opinion.

I've gathered a lot of goodies this weekend, its like there was a sale on in Val Royeaux's jewelery stores, I have rings for everything now, even managed to get 2 of the fables Thousand Cuts rings, unless Isabela can make use if these I am not sure what to do with them..
Plenty of nice other bits too, I feel there has been a good improvement on rare/purple drops.. ![]()
Was thinking that perhaps they could make it so the weapon you use matches your level character, basically means that you wont have a level 1 walking round with a massively over powered weapon..
Bit like in SP where you need to be a certain level before you can use a particular weapon..
I tend to gear 'down' when I start a new run with a character and don't use higher level weapons until I get to threatening or peri.. I find I get more use out of low level purples, a lot of them have great side effects but only really have a place in Routine..
