As for the complaints, yes, I too have a strong complaint about how PG13 supposedly the game is. No brothel, no sex scenes, no prostitutes, no desire demons, no multi-LI jealousy party banter, no mature content whatsoever beyond the extreme hack and slash and blood and gore, which, naturally is something that's far better for young teenagers to see than say, *gasp, the horror* a scene with two naked people... gods forbid we "offend" some grandmother somewhere who's forgotten how it looks like....
Brothels, sex scenes and prostitutes don't make a mature game, how you deal with mature themes makes a mature game.
There may not have been any full sex scenes in DA:I, but you do get to see nude characters, pre & post sex and just after Sera has finished giving the Inquisitor oral sex.
Just seeing naked people, is not as mature as being able to have a conversation with your LI after sex, where you are both clearly naked or taking a break from sex for a minute and talking to your partner.
I haven't done all the romances yet, but personally I felt that the sex scenes I have seen were well done, particularly when compared with the previous Dragon Age sex scenes because they showed what people actually do pre, post and sometimes during sex; they talk in the nude, the giggle, the pause after oral sex etc.
In fact DA:I is the first game I've ever played with implied oral sex, Sera's sex scene literally starts just as she is finished going down on the Inquisitor.
I don't agree with the conventional gaming wisdom, that says in order for a game to be considered mature it must have sex & nudity. It can of course, but those elements can be dealt with in an immature way, like the sex scenes in DA:O or in a mature way, like the sex scenes in ME1, ME3 and DA:I.
To me, a game is mature for the same reasons a book, T.V. Show or Film is mature, not because it has nudity, sex and violence but (to name a few things) because it is asking me questions that don't have easy answers, allows for multiple interpretations of events or challenging preconceived notions.
Including a trans character, attempting to challenge a players preconceived notions of the Qun,the Mages and the Templars and giving a player decisions that have no right or wrong answer are just some things that DA:I does that I believes makes it a mature game.
