How about One More Character pack DLC for ME3 MP... just to re-engage the community in the meantime?

No new maps or powers or weapons required just a handful of new character cards to try would be a nice gesture, couldn't be too much trouble, no?
Here's some ideas I would suggest, feel free to suggest your own:
Batarian Infiltrator:
Tactical Cloak
Submission Net
Cain Trip Mine
Salarian Solider:
Adrenaline Rush (bonus power)
Energy Drain
Proximity Mine
Batarian Engineer:
Cain Trip Mines
Recon Mine (debuff)
Supply Pylon
Salarian Sentinel:
Tech Armor
Energy Drain (armor boost)
Flamer
Turian Female Adept:
Biotic Sphere
Annihilation Field
Throw
Vorcha Vanguard:
Biotic Charge (bonus power)
Bloodlust
Carnage

It's not going to happen and personally I think it wouldn't be a brilliant idea anyway. We already have loads of characters to choose from, adding four more "new" characters into a three year old game isn't exactly going to reignite people's interest.
We are also (hopefully, fingers crossed) getting a remaster sometime, so ideally that would be a much better way to make a "marketing push" for the next ME game.
Sorry, I just don't see the logic in your idea.

One can still dream but it's so not gonna happen.

Throw in the unfinished maps, and some new ones, new weapons and yeah, I'd play it.

And a Geth Tech Vanguard with close range FTL Jump (aka nonbiotic Charge), Defense Drone (Tech Annihilations Field) and Cryo (or Polonium?) Nades.

If the trilogy is remastered for new systems then it would probably make even more sense to add new multiplayer content to the storefront to freshen up the experience for repeat customers.
I understand that most people haven't touched ME3 for years - something like this isn't for most people... it's to re-energize and touch base with BioWare's multiplayer community ahead of attempting to relaunch the series multiplayer next year.

I have nothing better to do so I'm gona give some constructive criticism ![]()
Most of your kits are pretty redundant. Let me explain:
Batarian Infiltrator:
Tactical Cloak
Submission Net
Cain Trip Mine
TC + Cain would be worse than the Cain spam on the Talon Merc times ten. Too op, redundant and boring :/
Salarian Solider:
Adrenaline Rush
Energy Drain
Proximity Mine
And this is redundant as well with the Salarian Infiltrator. You just trade a brief 80% damage boost (TC) for a medium duration 70% damage boost (AR). Same playstyle.
Batarian Engineer:
Cain Trip Mines
Recon Mine
Supply Pylon
Same as the BatInf.
Salarian Sentinel:
Tech Armor
Energy Drain
Flamer
The problem with this build that there is 2 ways to use a flamer. Kill everything outright or setup FireExplosions. The Geth Soldier and the Vorcha Sentinel would be better at one or the other method respectively.
Not to mention that I wouldn't want another fake Engineer Sentinel. They suppose to use Biotic as well.
Turian Female Adept:
Biotic Sphere
Annihilation Field
Throw
This is a solid build but I'd replace the Throw with something so it's not just a Fury 2.0. Preferably not a primer/detonator (warp, reave) so it's not Justicar 2.0. Biotic Focus or Cluster Nades would be interesting imo.
Vorcha Vanguard:
Biotic Charge
Bloodlust
Carnage
We already know that Carnage and BC doesn't synergise well. Anything (except setting up fire splosions) Carnage does BC does it better. Ignoring that it would be just a different Kroguard.
Also the kits that I came up with:
Turian Adept
Flare
Lift Grenade
Slam
New 6b passive: Reduces recharge speed.
Asari Soldier
Defensive Matrix (same as Fortification, only it restores shield and not increases melee damage on purge)
Warp (Asari military has mandatory biotic)
Snap Freeze
Krogan Engineer
Electric Slash
Snap Freeze
Flamer
Drell Sentinel
Warp
Incinerate
Reave
Batarian Infiltrator
Tactical Cloak (Shotgun evo)
Fortification
Ballistic Blades
Quarian Female Vanguard
Dominate
Biotic Focus
Adrenalin Rush
New 6b passive: Increases Power duration.
+
Drell Adept
Smash
Biotic Sphere
Shockwave
New 6b passive: Increase Power recharge for a few seconds after detonatin Biotic Explosions.
Geth Soldier
Hunter Mode
Adrenalin Rush
Siege Pulse
Batarian Engineer
Hawk Missile Launcher
Phase Distruptor
Shield Boost
Salarian Sentinel
Fortification
Tech Armor
Flare
Vorcha Infiltrator
Tactical Cloak
Bloodlust
Havok Strike
Salarian Vanguard
Defensive Matrix
Reave
Ballistic Blades
I tried to come up with new and interesting play styles, with good power synergy. I tried to make them all uniqe some way or another, I didn't want to just make a better version of an existing kit.

Some interesting ideas there. Salarian Vanguard and, Krogan Engineer are pretty fun concepts. I could maybe see a Salarian using Poison Strike tbh with some crazy fast new animations but even Biotic Charge spec'd with bonus power and Energy Drain could be a neat combo to try. It's sounds crazy on paper but no more so than the Volus Vanguard, really.
Yeah I never use Volus Vanguard. Like ever. BC + SB is redundant on a kit, and Biotic Orbs are better on the Adept.
Asari Soldier would be sweet i'm guessing warp and snap freeze stack but i've always wanted to use marksman with warp.
Warp + MM is neat but I didn't want another debuff -> MM kit. There are already 2 of that.
Using Submission Net on an sniper infiltrator would be amazing for shield damage over time and headshot potential.
I guess you are right on that. I mostly play on platinum though, where neither is really effective. Well SN is a good DoT and an occasional CC, but not as a main move.

@Guanxii - I too would like to see a bit of a revival of ME3MP in preparation of ME4. I know it's unlikely, but a player can dream...
@ZoliCs - Certainly interesting proposals. A few questions though;
Drell Sentinel - Why no persistent defensive power, the usual calling card of the Sentinel?
Quarian Vanguard - I'm pretty sure there are no Quarian biotic classes because there are no Quarian biotics. To become a biotic, a person has to be exposed to eezo when in the womb, and because of how Quarians live that exposure doesn't occur.
Asari Soldier - Why not Adrenaline Rush instead of Snap Freeze? Just thinking of a less Sentinel-style build.

No, they should put out a free to play stand alone ME3MP on Xbox 1 and PS4 since NME is likely coming out fall or winter 2016.

Well I had specific playstyles planned out, and I draw inspiration from the original class concepts. For example a Sentinel is a biotic/tech mix not a caster tank, and vanguard is a soldier biotic mix not a CQC biotic.
For the Drell Sentinel i wanted a class that can make it's own biotic and tech combos without the need of ammo. So it plays something like this:
Incinerate -> Warp (fire explosion) -> Reave (biotic explosion) -> Warp (biotic explosion)
Rinse and repeat.
For the Asari I imagined this: SF -> Warp (cryo explosion) and then go balls out on the double debuffed target.
I didn't want to use Adrenalin Rush because it would feel a bit like the Turian and Quarian Soldier. Debuff the target with Warp/Proxy mine/Tac Scan and then nuke them with MM/AR. Also I already copied that playstyle with the Quarian Vanguard. It would work though.
I agree that it feels sentinelish, but I blame the lack of combat powers for that. Most of the combat powers turned into tech. But now that I think about it the Asari Soldier plays like Asari Sentinel, I'll have to ponder on that.
As for the Quarian biotics, Tali said they are very, very rare. Which means they do exist. http://masseffect.wi...s#Alien_Biotics

This could maybe happen if they wanted to include it in a next-gen re-release. I would love to see a Salarian soldier kit, it drove me nuts that we never got one. Also, even more new maps, because I'm greedy and delusional. What is a ME4? Lets just keep playing ME3 MP!

There are a few more characters I would have like to see. Not that there aren't a lot to choose from already, but there were a few glaring omissions along with a few characters I didn't care for that I thought were either redundant or unnecessary.
Of the glaring omissions, I think most can agree that another salarian or two are one of the more obvious choices. A salarian soldier is one of the more popular incarnations, and I agree. I thought a salarian with perhaps Fortification, Concussive Shot or Carnage, and maybe Energy Drain or some kind of grenade or maybe even Marksman or Adrenaline Rush would have been a great addition.
The unnecessary ones, in my opinion, were four geth, four volus and three drell, especially when the salarians, a Council race, were so underrepresented.
This is one of the reasons I hope we'll see some kind of character customization system in the next ME MP. I doubt it would be anything too crazy where you could have any combination of powers. There's the potential for super overpowered characters. But something that you can select your race and class and pick from a pool of available powers and passives.
That would alleviate the problem. Imagine if you could go into a customization screen and just pick a salarian, assign him to the soldier class, and pick from a pool of available powers and customize his appearance, then save him and deploy him. I think that would take the variety of what we currently have to the next level and would avoid overlooking any characters.

If we didn't get a remastered edition on XB1/PS4
, then I'd be quite happy with this.
